Never tried it. Nothing against it, but not sure what I would need to use it for.

We stayed at JW Marriott at Freedom Plaza last summer. Perfect location for DC.
re: Driving from Canyon De Chelly to Monument Valley
Posted by LSU on 2/17/25 at 7:50 am
We drove that route from Monument Valley to Petrified Forest National Park in 2021. We passed by the entrance to Canyon De Chelly on the way. Couldn't stop there though because Navajo Nation was still closed for Covid.
We had a rental Chevy Equinox on that trip that handled the roads just fine. Took it over 2,000 miles through various national parks out west. The bumpiest part of the Utah/Arizona portion was actually driving the Valley of the Gods 17 mile loop near Monument Valley.

So how does that work? Saints season ticket holders have a chance to buy them since it’s in super dome?
This is what they sent season ticket holders last week. I was not selected.
Dear Saints Season Ticket Holder,
As the host city for Super Bowl LIX, we’ve been given an extremely limited number of tickets to sell for Super Bowl LIX — and we’re reserving them for our valued season ticket holders. These tickets will be allocated through a random lottery due to the high demand and limited supply.
Here’s what to expect:
• Winners will be contacted on Monday, January 27th.
• If selected, you will receive email notification and our team will call you. You will have 48 hours to claim and pay for your tickets online via account manager or over the phone (deadline is 5pm CT on Wednesday, January 29th).
• If chosen, you will have the opportunity to purchase up to 2 tickets to Super Bowl LIX.
Thank you for your incredible support, and good luck!
re: White House Tour

Does anyone have any knowledge on how the White House tours typically work?
We reserved a White House tour last May & submitted our request directly through both our senator & congressman's office. Completed the form on their websites about 4 months ahead of our trip, as both offices informed us that they can start scheduling tours at 90 days out & they fill up very quickly.
Got an e-mail from both of their staffs the day after completing the online form:
"Thank you for reaching out to our office regarding a tour of the White House. We are pleased to inform you that you have been added to our office’s White House Priority Request List. Our office will be sure to request tour tickets for you and your group for the requested dates when those tickets become available."
At the 90 day mark before our requested tour dates, we received e-mails from White House Tours with a link to plug in our info so they could do a background check on us.
"Hello, thank you for your interest in a tour of the White House! This email serves as notification that we have received your White House tour request. Please note that this email is not a confirmation of a White House tour. You will receive an email notification about the status of your tour request approximately 2-3 weeks prior to the requested date(s)."
We received 2 of these White House Tour links for background checks because both senator & congressman offices separately requested tours for us. We filled out both links to hopefully increase our chances & actually ended up getting approved for two separate reservations on different days. We only showed up & completed the tour once though.
Exactly 2 weeks prior to our trip, we received confirmation e-mails from the White House with our reserved tour dates & times.
"Hello! On behalf of the President and Dr. Biden, we are pleased to confirm your tour of the White House for 4 guests. Prior to arriving for your tour, please review and print the White House Tour Pass for your group. Please ensure all attendees are correctly registered on the guest list. Note: The White House tour schedule is subject to last minute rescheduling or cancellation with little notice due to official use or inclement weather."

Been a subscriber since 2005. Can't imagine any other option in the car. App is great too for listening at work or gym.

I'm amazed at the lack of basic Excel knowledge almost every time I interview or encounter a fairly recent college graduate.

Got this one as a gift from Academy a few months ago. Works well so far.
re: Which team are you pulling for tonight?
Posted by LSU on 1/20/25 at 10:18 am
Ohio State. I would've pulled for any of the other 11 playoff teams this year against Notre Dame though, except maybe Texas.
re: When do you feel it is worth it to pay for an upgrade on a flight?
Posted by LSU on 1/15/25 at 10:23 am
I'm 6'5" & I've never paid for it on a North America flight. Occasionally get a free first class upgrade though & it's nice most of the time.
I haven't flown overseas, but I probably would pay for it on a long flight.
