re: #5 vs #2 this Sunday UK vs Duke

Great job selling out Rupp for the girls.
Hope they continue playing well :nana:
Agree they need to cut the students tickets. Those sections are empty almost every game (exception was UofL game this year). Don't know what's going on with our students or students across the country for that matter has several other schools have had problems with student attendance. Hate to see the ones that do go punished, but taking away a few thousands tickets won't hurt anyone because there is always that many seats open there.
What is telling to me is the HUGE drop off in talent in women's basketball outside the top 30-40 programs. Looking at the top 25 scores week in and week out, any time a ranked school plays a non-ranked school, it is like a 30,40,50 or more point win. Women's NCAA Tourney is just as telling has the same schools win the title year in and year out. Not sure how to fix it though.

Didn't his father play for the Tigers?

If his father played there and the visit goes really well then I think there is a chance he could be swayed.

I don't think UK leads on James Blackmon, but his father played here and he is making a visit here and that could swing things to our favor.

Some kids are more likely to want to follow in their fathers footsteps and attend his former school and some would rather take their own path.

We will see which path these two recruits choose.

I have seen some sites list October 30th has the decision date and some list Halloween as the date. Either way, He looks to be deciding soon and signing this fall. That seems to tell me he has his mind made up already. He is going to be a good player for someone.

Welcome to da club Reedus
I'm ok with these four posters.
Don't see any trolls in this bunch.
I go to one home game a year and one road game.
Have done this since 2005 so, kinda making a tradition of it.
Went to Nashville for my road game.
Going to Missouri for the home game this year.

Wish everyone who is going the best this weekend and my thoughts and prayers for those who have had losses the past few years.

We are all family in this Big Blue Nation
I read where Miami runs an option based attack so, Cats D will see a lot of run game again this week. DE's need to contain the edges and LB's need to finish tackles this week.
I'm with you on adding them Belle

If you can root for UK on the LSU Rant then you must bleed some blue in you
Yeah, it's going to be a long season.
Lots of teaching to do.
Team should get better has season moves forward as long as injuries don't weigh on us.

As for WKU game.

That first half Pass Interference call was huge allowing them to stay on the field and score a TD and they go into halftime ahead. We had tons of fans there and the place would have been rocking for us if we just could have gotten the lead at some point.

The false starts ended up being very costly. Seemed like we were in first and 15 for over half the game. We don't have enough talent to win games doing those simple mistakes.

We brought in Max Smith far too late. I'm for if you make that move you have to do it earlier in the game or don't do it at all. I'm not big on playing two QB's, but if you do commit to playing two then you have to give the other a shot at some point in the first half.

Like what we saw for the first game though. Fans were happy and into the game for as much as they could be trailing the entire way. We all know its a rebuilding process we are in and it will take a season or two just to get stable and set the foundation.

Future will be much brighter for us.
Leaving for Nash-Vegas now.

I'll be on the 10 yard line about 8 rows up.

Go Cats!!!!!

C-A-T-S!!!

I don't know Getmorewithles.

I looked through about 5 pages of his past posts and didn't see anything "bad" other than he doesn't like flat bill hats and thinks they are hip-hop.

Wild Thang is an LSU fan and may have better insight on him.
Latarian :yack:

Heck No, We don't want no TROLLS :loser:

I don't know how strong the Curry name is in Georgia. It says on his wiki page that Bill Curry was born in College Park, Georgia and played Center for Georgia Tech and after 9 years in the NFL, he returned to Georgia Tech as an asst coach and eventually became head coach before moving on to Alabama and then Kentucky and finally, returning to coach at Georgia State after several years in the ESPN broadcasting booth.
