Why UK and SEC attendance is down = Carpetbaggers!

Someone called into KSR to complain about Carpetbaggers coming into the state from Ohio and taking the education and leaving... and not attending games or supporting the University. 
Strangely I do agree this happens to some extent. Call Slive! This must explain why SEC attendance is down this year. Problem solved.

I did see it during my time at UK. But it happens everywhere and its no excuse.

Isn't it still impossible to get tickets to UK home games?

The UK part of my family attends all the home FB games and most of the girls games, but can't get the men's tickets.

Thank the K Fund. Also, if they cut almost 10,000 tickets from Commonwealth expect the football tickets (face value) and K fund (added donation) to increase greatly.
Do they have season tickets for the girls? How often do they go?
Do they go to the baseball games?

They go to most of the girls games. I am not sure about baseball.
Their seats are being moved with the renovation of CW. They aren't real happy about that.
They also stay at the FB games until the end.

This was a terrible marketing move in my opinion. Goodwill is built over a lifetime, bad bad will can destroy in an instant.

Agree they need to cut the students tickets. Those sections are empty almost every game (exception was UofL game this year). Don't know what's going on with our students or students across the country for that matter has several other schools have had problems with student attendance. Hate to see the ones that do go punished, but taking away a few thousands tickets won't hurt anyone because there is always that many seats open there.
