He cited that the players were more worried about getting paid than they were getting developed. He was only interested in developing players.

After they lost to Michigan, instead of the players looking to see what they needed to do to improve, all they cared about was getting more money.

His entire formula for success was - take talented players and make them elite for big NFL checks.

Plus, it was really time for him to retire. He was getting soft and was having a hard time getting quality coordinators, as the good ones got hired away immediately. I did not like the 2023 team at all. I did not like the players, their attitudes, nothing. Carried over into 2024 as well. Peak Saban never would have put up with that shite.
