IIRC it was a 19 yard FG and the K said he didn’t even warm up for the kick because it was so short he knew he’d make it.

and their RB foolishly tried to stretch for the endzone and dropped the ball before it broke the plane, instead of just going down and giving them 1st and goal at the one foot line

No question about it. I attended that game and we did not deserve at all to win that game … and our crowd was loud for a day game. I felt sorry for the Mizzou fans that traveled. They thought their “thicker kicker” that had been money all season was going to nail the chip shot … and he should have.
We dodged a major bullet that day
