Assuming you care about school and have decent means to pay for school (ie you don't have to work your arse off while being a full time time student), I couldn't imagine a less attractive choice to go with the Auburn experience.
Especially now that some of these "characters" are getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Unless you are the son of a very wealthy booster or something like that.

Check out the Kevin Greene story here of walking on. Or Josh Harris the Deep Snapper who walked on the 2007 and still playing in the NFL.

When I was a freshman (94) one of my roommates was a walk-on offensive lineman. He was also enrolled in pre-engineering classes. I can't remember if it was Bowden or someone else on the staff, but he was told "you can either be a part of the football team or you can be an engineering major, but you can't do both."

I had a roommate, same timeframe, walk on WR and an EE major. I saw him twice.

Yeah I was there for the 84 year. Thus me being 5'9" & 150 lbs wet...no way I would have been able to even play with that group. I mean Little train had more weight than I did and he left a year before me
