why's it matter? Their 12th man is the committee. You think Bama would drop EIGHT spots in a loss? Of course not. Even with a loss, their 3rd, they will still be in the top 12.
It's truly going to take 4 losses to keep bama out of the playoffs. What's the point in even having regular season games anymore? Can you imagine how bad it'll be in a 24 team playoff? Bama will have to go 7-5 to miss it.
Bama, UGA, OSU, Texas, Oregon, Miami, Tennessee, Indiana, Notre Dame, Texas Tech, Utah, et al are going to make the playoffs every year. Like...EVERY YEAR.
UGA's schedule next year is brutal with road games at Texas, Texas A&M, AU, UF and UK and home games with LSU and Tennessee. Who cares? We can go 8-4 and still make the playoffs. What garbage.
