The Louisiana State University Fighting Tigers traveled to Tuscaloosa Alabama where they played the University of Alabama Crimson Tide in the Bama Quadrangle. LSU emerged victorious in shut-out fashion by a score of 11 to zero.

1902, when Aggie could not lose a game, yet still only manage 7 wins, and Vandy was crushing souls except against a scrappy Sewanee.
In 2102, assuming some version of CFB still exists even if played by robots, who will be the current SEC's Sewanee?

Vandy was LSU’s only loss that season.

I was there, remember it well. I got cursed out by a Gump with a handle bar mustache, crimson suit, and tophat who was accompanied by who I assume was his cousin wearing a long flowy gown. The Tiger defense was stout that day.

It wasn't much of an accomplishment. Alabama was terrible that season with a 4-4 record. Two of those wins came against Birmingham High School and Marion Institute.

Are you seriously defending the honor of the 1902 team and not just enjoying this thread for its historical content and significance?
Why are you a moron?

The band didn't give a damn; they had other things to do.
