What is there to do around these areas? First time traveling thai area to have fun with wife and kids.
This post is gonna get moved but I thought I’d put it here first.
Also I’m expecting a bunch of shite posts so it’s fine. But if anyone is actually knowledgeable about this area, I’d appreciate the input.

I don't know much about Hoover and Tuscaloosa, but if you're near Talladega and like to shoot, or like anything about firearms, I'd highly recommend this place!
Talladega Civilian Marksmanship Park
If my wife had no way of stopping me, I'd spend a massive chunk of change over there on some of the restored weapons they have. (1903 Springfields, 1917 Enfields, M1's M1 Carbines, planty of 1911's, and now and then a few M-14s show up on the racks after restoration for sale.) They also have 600 yd rifle ranges, so you can really test yourself.
