Am I old for thinking they need to stop screwing with uniforms for teams with iconic looks

It never looks better, it just makes you look like some other team

I thought the all white jerseys looked pretty good.
Not quite as good as the black jerseys with red helmets but way better than those extremely ugly other Red alternate uniforms we wore once under Richt opening the season against Boise State when they kicked our arse.
I agree though, if it was up to me we wouldnt use any alternate uniforms ever and just use our classic home/away because theyre extremely clean and traditional.
Maybe Kirbs thinks rarely wearing some kind of alt uniform will help with recruiting

I don’t mind it if they are going to wear the uniforms for one game and then auction them off for charity.
I dont mind it either if it’s to honor something like 9/11 or maybe even on a lesser note celebrate a past look in school history for one game. Bama had white Helmets back in the 60’s I think. If they want to celebrate one of the 60’s championship teams one week by going retro then I have no problem with that. To do it just to do it though I don’t think I would like it to well. There should be a point to it.

The icons should always wear their iconic uniforms, at least home.
