Haywood didn’t catch on at Ann Arbor despite throwing frick You money at him to get him to flip on us originally. So I think it’s fair to say he hasn’t transitioned to college like anyone hoped.

Harwood is extremely raw. He's got the frame you want, but he's got to improve his technique.

Yea but I would think after a year at Michigan and months at Bama that he could at least be on the traveling(road) / dress out (home games) squad

I think Booker was buried at RG, where it'll still presumably be Michael Carroll, then Ethan Fields (from Ole Miss).
Just a guess, but maybe they now slide Kaden Strayhorn (from Michigan) over from LG,or at least let him get reps at both guard spots in practice? We already have Waldrep and Fretwell behind Sanders there if needed.

Has Fretwell recovered from his injury enough yet to possibly contribute? I haven't heard how he's doing so far.

Good question. They initially said October, but a while back he was supposedly ahead of that schedule.
I don't think he ended up enrolling early (due to the ACL), so he probably hasn't had a lot of work.
I think Nick Brooks played guard at Texas; maybe he'd be in the mix?

I will add, I'm guessing in part because I don't know Klemm's philosophy on specific positions.
Someone like Joe Pendry would've rotated the lineman at nearly every spot, so theoretically they could shift around as needed.
Alternatively, Klemm could be considering them as strict specialists.

I’ve lost so much interest in recruiting that I genuinely thought “who?” Was he a highly rated player out of high school?

We’ll probably never know but I’m assuming he’s homesick/misses his girlfriend back home or is buried on the depth chart and thinks he can do better?

This. Used to know who our third string long snapper was...now I honestly can't name our starting OL. The players are just numbers now for the most part. Kinda sad.
