Off topic - Female UGA student falls out of her 8th floor dorm window

I just heard on the ABC national news that a female UGA student has survived a fall from her 8th floor dorm room window when she was jumping on her bed celebrating a Georgia game victory. Does anyone know more about this and what condition she is in?

She survived. The phone call to the police is available on the net somewhere. She hit a metal bench which they said broker her fall.......

Dude fell from a damaged B-17 over 22,000 feet up with no parachute in WWII and survived.

Usually a swamp is involved with surviving failed parachute attempts.

He was a ball turret gunner and never had a parachute on. The plane was heavily damaged and he fell out of it and landed on a train station.

The news said she was jumping up and down on her bed celebrating a Georgia game and somehow ended up falling out the window so it appears it was just an accident.
She's a DGD and a very lucky beautiful blonde young woman. If anyone hears what her injuries are and how she is doing post it in this thread because I doubt the news out here will say any more about it.

Wow, that place looks amazing. I wish they had apartments like that when I went to UGA from 64-68.

I find it difficult to believe that jumping on a bed could lead to falling out of one of those small windows. Something doesn't add up.

The Callaway Gardens apartments had just been built when I attended UGA.
I rented an apartment there when they opened it.
My freshman year I lived in Reed Hall. I hated living in Reed Hall. The only benefit to living in Reed Hall was that it was right next to Sanford Stadium.
Back then students could get into all of the home football games for free and get seats on the 50 yard line.
I went to all of the home games and became one of the original Dooley Dawgs.
