ESPN's Greg McElroy thinks Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher needs a successful season in 2023 or else...
quote:

“I think that Jimbo Fisher, in order to continue the financial support that he’s received from his boosters, he needs to have a winning season," McElroy said on his Always College Football show.

"If for whatever reason they fall flat again and they disappoint again, then we can’t point to the youth. We can’t point to the inexperience. We can’t point to this, we can’t point to that. We can only point to the head coach, and he needs to have a big year to break through."

I’d say he needs more than a “winning season”. They had those with slocumb, Sherman and sumlin.

That dude looks broken. Fat, balding and unshaven is my look but I don’t get paid millions to represent a university. I realize it’s aTm but still…he is a sad case

Considering everyone seems to presume Alabama will be off this year, they have to get it done and more than just a winning season - NY6 is probably the minimum barring injuries as a reason for a drop off.

Only at A&M does having a "big year" equal "he needs to have a winning season"

Isn't A&M still pretty deep into what his buyout would be? It seems his job is pretty safe.

I’d say Nick Saban is on the hot seat. I know some BAMA fans who’s ready for change!

Ginger is right though, Jimbo really does need to do something this season or else? The or else is AtM should get rid of his overpaid butt immediately, a Kevin Sumlin wouldn't have been given all of this time. Smh Yes, Mr. Fisher, make it or break it this season!
