Alabama Kicker Joseph Bulovas Announces Transfer To Another SEC Program
© John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports
Former Alabama football kicker Joseph Bulovas has officially announced his transfer to Vanderbilt University...
quote:

It’s been an amazing four years in Tuscaloosa and I can’t thank Coach Saban and the Alabama program enough for everything they have done for me. It’s truly been an honor to play for the Crimson Tide and be a part of two national championship teams. With that being said, I will be playing my last two collegiate years at Vanderbilt University! #AnchorDown

I'm guessing having gone to gumpville he's entering Vandy as if he's a freshman in HS, education wise. Screw the gumps

Well he's not beating out the best kicker perhaps Alabama has ever had. I could see where vandy would provide opportunities to practice his trade more fully.

The "committed" graphic for transfers is cringe

So how does he have 2 more yrs if he had 4 at bama? 6 yrs of eligibility now a thing? I'm assuming he got his undergrad, and now candy grad school.

Probably redshirted his true freshman year and last year was a Covid year that didn’t count for anyone. So maybe played 2 (3 including Rona year) years and has 2 left just like a redshirt freshman plays 5 years

redshirt 2017, missed a bunch of kicks for us in 2018 and 2019, didnt play at all in 2020, has 2 years because of the covid exception. Kinda surprised he didnt at least get a bachelors in 4 full years on campus.

Smart move by Vandy to bring in a little competition for Sarah Fuller. Can’t let her get complacent
