© Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports
Can we please move the title game to Saturday now? The ratings are in from Monday's College Football Playoff National Championship Game between Alabama and Ohio State and the numbers are not good...

Oh, Alabama again? Boooooring. Absolutely no one is interested in watching that shite.

No one cares about seeing the same teams... Saban needs to move on for the betterment of CFB...

Who cared. This year was a waste! Maybe worst year since 1941.

Who played?

Alabama has ruined the fun of college football

Everyone is sick of Bama!!! It’s really sad they will be back next year!

It could have been on Saturday and pulled the same ratings. Bama's 7th title in recent years, people just didn't want to watch. LSU fan here, I just had no interest. Not my team, so no matter who won, it didn't matter to me.

"Not my team, so no matter who won, it didn't matter to me.".... soI'm a fan of LSU, but am also a fan of college football, and watch many matchups of other teams, and enjoy the heck out of them.

It's because Saban is the best at cheating. Level the playing field and the ratings will go up.

Didn't watch it...this season was just not the same! Not to mention, as others have said, same old teams, Bama with the best coach and best players at every position due in part to never getting caught for recruiting violations at Dodge Charger U...

ah yes, the "Bama cheats" argument. That's got to be the reason for their success - it can't be anything else. How childish.

I Thought it was awesome, would watch again!

censorship. twitter, google and facebook blocked me from watching.

Nobody gives a #^$^ about the gumps. This was no championship nothing, it'll always have an asterisk attached. Doesn't even count, when a third of the teams couldn't really play. Screw the gumps

Man its two days later and you are still melting, LOL. You are broken.

if LSU was playing in the championship game, you'd have the opposite opinion and there'd be no asterisk. Being a hypocrite is a really bad thing.

We all hate them but saying there is an asterisk is just stupid.

it would still lack viewership because people are tired of watching the same shit

I love CFB but honestly had forgotten about the game until a buddy texted me 5 min before it started. I haven't been as focused on this season as prior years
Reply13 days
First time ever not watching, did not care to see either team again

There were no College Football Playofds in 2004.

After everything going on in DC, I honestly forgot it was on the other night until I saw a guy in the grocery store with a Ohio St shirt on. Plus Covid crap making the whole season abnormal didn’t help at all, along with people tired of seeing the same teams in it every year.

Imagine that... people dont like being force fed the BLM narrative.

That...or people are sick and tired of watching Alabama, Clemson, and OSU playing each other. I can honestly say that I wouldn't have given a shite about this game regardless of what day it was played.

And tired of seeing Bama.

"people dont like being force fed the BLM narrative".... I certainly don't, and haven't watched a single second of the NFL or NBA this year or last. But thankfully I didn't see or hear anything on Monday night, other than "Equality" (whatever that means) on the back of the OSU helmets.
