Yes and no.

Beat writers get to watch the first 5-10 minutes of practice sometimes. One of the first things they're supposed to do is see who's practcing and who's not practicing. Nobody realizes that Xaverer McCleod isn't out there, that's one thing. But we've been practicing for 3 weeks lol.

All media has become lazy and agenda driven with exception of the truly independent journalists. Yet all the big awards for quality journalism give out awards to hacks.

I don’t get it. Suck it up and play hard for a few more months, do well at the combine, and you suddenly have more $ than most people will make their entire life.

yah, this doesn't add up. Seems like his is healthy enough to play and I assume he has some kind of NIL deal. So if he sticks it out he gets paid. Seems like he would disclose if it was injury related but who knows. He may sit out and transfer to another school and come back next year.

Based on him leaving after the second practice. It could be due to a girlfriend, being out of shape, and/or some other personal struggles that made him question things. Have seen it many times. And nothing makes you ask questions more than the first week of practices in August. It is mentally and physically brutal.

Idk why people keep trying to assign some deep hidden ulterior motive to the situation instead of just taking it at face value. The dude doesn't like playing football and doesn't want to do it anymore.

Link?

Edit: Disregard, and please accept my apologies. I thought you were taking a poke based on past UGA player arrests. I see now that he was arrested.

Misdemeanor criminal tresspassing

Got one of those when I was 17. Basically the Walmart rent a cop in Savanah told me and my friends to leave and we didn’t respect their authority so we walked around and looked at video games until a real officer came and asked us to leave so we did and got a ticket which the judge later dropped.

Crazy crime he committed!

Not leaving when told to (or coming back after having been told) is one of the ways to get a criminal trespass charge, but that's not what happened in this case.

Property damage of less than $500 is another, based on the jail booking report; that's what happened. The charge was made under the Family Violence Act.

Criminal trespass is one of the misdemeanor charges listed under the Family Violence Act. The FVA also includes "people living or formerly living together".

It could be a simple matter of his damaging a roommate's property, but it could also be more problematic.

Oh thanks for taking the time to type that out. I’m no lawyer that’s for sure I 200% shot from the anecdotal hip

Based on the fact it's a domestic, I'd bet my next 8 paychecks that he'd been formally trespassed and came back for some dumbass reason.

I thought that "not leaving when told do" would be disorderly conduct or loitering.
