You can do all of that with a 60” widescreen with much less traffic and for a fraction of the cost.
But in person you get to hear the lone bugler and see drunk scantily dressed coeds. Plus the bonus ....no dumb arse commercials.

Also add air conditioning and no bathroom lines.

If I could watch a 2.5 hour football game
This is the key part. When I used to go to hockey games, I would be in and out of Bridgestone Arena in about 3 hours. I wish college football could be like that. I could pass on the Turdmonster and free popcorn if I didn't have to sit in the beating sun for 4.5 hours.

One of the charming things about the old days of pay per view vs cupcakes was no tv timeouts, the game actually kept moving. Great for kids because 1- you win and 2- it's only 2 hours. Those days are gone.
Regarding hockey, it was the best thing I liked about the sport while forced to watch it in Canada, they don't stop for shite, no tv timeout bullshite. I actually got into it a little. I was in Toronto at a little sports bar next to my hotel that so happened to be a Leafs bar, when they were playing prime time, place was packed with drunks but all very friendly with zero thug factor.

Yeah, that's why I like it. The are only like 4 rules so that part is easy to pick up on. Now I have no idea what is going on in terms of strategy but the games are fun, and unless there is OT they're over pretty quickly.

Soccer - two 45min halves with ZERO commercial breaks. shite has never changed. Somehow it’s the #1 watched sport in the world and top paying athletes.
Put the digital advertising around the field. Do side by side commercials. Have the announcers read commercials....lot of ways to get this shite back on track.

Larry Munson was not fond of TV games and the lengthy Tv time outs

But he was fond of the money it provided him to pay off the whores.

2 45 minute halves and 15 minute half is great.

Bourbon, cigars and whores. Who needs that?

I'm with JudgeLarryDawg. I don't think any SEC school expands. SEC schools and college football need to do more to enhance the game experience. No one can deny that tailgating at UGA is great but the experience inside the stadium hasn't changed all that much. Sanford has improved but if you compare college football with the Braves or Mercedes Benz it's lagging. I'm not sure how overall season ticket sales are but it seems like the next generation may invest quite as much. I have a friend who's dad is in his mid 70's. He has 8 season tickets. He can't give away tickets for the early games like Western Carolina.

It’s over.
The fact that there’s a thread with bottom lip poked out and hands on hip demanding a bowl shape...
...says it all

And 25-30 seconds of actual action.

I would have to hard disagree on this. Neither of those come close to a Saturday night in Athens.
What makes college football more exciting is the true connection many of the fans have to the University.
Baseball has to work harder because generally the games are boring af. Actual action in a baseball game is around 10%. Most of the experience is things you have to do to stay occupied because of how boring the game is.
As for Mercedes...despite 1.6 billion dollars, the acoustics are still horrible and sorry but blaring rap music and 360 LEDs gets old. Upper deck seats spend most of the time watching games on the tv screens..why go?
I think UGA does an ok job balancing the band with blaring music...mixing modern tech with tradition. Tradition..something Falcons never had and the Braves washed away.

Ha! Failure is a tradition! Losing is a tradition! Choking is a tradition! We have plenty of traditions, sir.
