Also...when you are down like that...why not just try the QB who started the whole season last year...just to get some spark or something.

And tell the current quarterback "Sorry, dude; we just don't trust you to get us back in, but thanks for coming out." Maybe Eason comes in and provides a spark, but maybe putting him in puts doubts in Fromm's mind. It's a crapshoot at best.

A spark wouldn’t have helped. Our OL was so bad. Defensively, we had one kid who made plays consistently and that was Roquan. Where was our other LB’s?

I too think we'll be ok. Actually, I'm a bit relieved we got this loss out of the way.

How we play against Kentucky will tell me what to expect in the SECCG. If we come out with something to prove (which I think we will) then I feel confident we'll play very well in the SECCG regardless of opponent.

If we come out flat... well watch out for GT and the SECCG will also be ugly.

Great season, and the goal I wanted for the team was going to ATL. Everything else is gravy at this point.

Seriously, I could see us squeaking by Kentucky. I did predict they’d be the dark horse in the east. Then I see us beating tech by at least 17 points and being really up on revenge.

Imo, we would fair better against Bama due to their injuries but I think the revenge factor would come in and would help us take it to Auburn pretty good.

Because he hasn't earned a chance to do that in practice and he doesn't have the skill set to overcome our issues the other day.

Hopefully the team responds better than that one did vs uk.

The coaches should not be afraid to throw on first down. An incompletion is no worse than a no gain run and we've had many no gain runs. Kirby & Chaney need to trust Fromm more because if he doesn't pass successfully we can't beat good teams.

Such an important point. When you know a team has gameplanned to shut down your run game and make your qb throw, fricking throw the ball! Especially when playing a team with Auburn's talented front 7. It's time to take the kid gloves off and let Fromm lead. Use the pass to set-up the run if the game and opponent requires you to do so.

I would rather wait till next year in Athens to get revenge on Auburn. Let Bama beat them in a knock-down knuckle busting game and hobble into Atlanta. Winner takes all to the Playoffs.

I don't even think we need to throw more.

Just throw more on 1st down.

Bobo was 50/50 for much of his career to a fault. If the running game was killing it, he would still work in the pass. If the passing game was killing it, he was still running the football too.

We just need to have a little more balance on first down. I know that hammering opponents worked for the first 8 games, but there are times to show something different. Frommward
