UGA is one of the four best teams. The best teams are the most deserving teams.

Alabama will prove what we already know--Michigan is not one of the four best.

Bama would definitely face Michigan than UGA again

No, they'd rather face Georgia because they know they have a 14-0 lead before the game even starts. If Georgia wanted to be in the playoffs, they'd have taken care of business in a game they should have won.

Texas lost by double digits to a team with 2 losses. I think their 1-loss was worse than UGA’s.

They are a 12-1 conference champion and they beat the team that Georgia lost to in their conference championship by double digits on the road. All other talking points are moot.

Results on the field have to matter.

I know we had some injuries, but everyone does and we above all else, with the Injuries to the Bama and Ohio St receivers in our big games with them, know that's a lame excuse.

Is it, though? We probably don’t get one of the last two natties if Jameson Williams and Marvin Harrison stay healthy. Just like this year Alabama doesn’t beat us if our receiving group was healthy. Somehow it all evens out in the end.

Depends on what criteria you’re using, if it’s four most deserving then no but if it’s four best then yes.

It's this simple.

However, you can't expect to get in this year with the way the conference game went.

I absolutely believe we should have made it. It was the right decision to omit FSU. Though it would never happen, the team which REALLY needs to get the boot is Michigan. For the last 3 years, they've had a one game schedule (and cheated in at least two of those), only to go onto the CFP and get blasted in the semis (it will happen again this year).

"Oh, but we have to beat Penn State, too...it's not just Ohio State!"

frick outta here. PSU is absolute dogshit, and has been dogshit to anyone who has subjected their eyes to slow arse B1G football. PSU is the equivalent of like a Tennessee or Ole Miss in the SEC, but worse because they NEVER win big games.

I am SO looking forward to realignment. Michigan is going to get blasted next year with not JUST Ohio State and PSU...they've also go Washington, Oregon, Texas, and USC on the bill. They may be lucky to even make the 12 team playoff.

I do not think UGA should be in but it depends on the metrics. I believe FL state should have been in even though they aren’t top 4 “best”. If the committee insists they are going by that standard it is disingenuous to not say UGA is at least top 4. Vegas would still favor UGA over every opponent.

Atleast 75% of the fanbase thinks we should be in but there are a lot of good 1 loss and undefeated teams.
However, “Clearly a Best Four Team” Alabama

• Lost by 10 to Texas
• Beat Arkansas by 3
• Beat Auburn by 3
• Beat A&M by 6

We lose one game on a neutral field (Saban is 17-0 in ATL) by 3 points and suddenly were the 6th best team in the country
Just sick of the Nick saban favortism.
If alabama wins it all and we beat FSU, I will recognize UGA as coming in 2nd place in the country.
