We’re On The Verge Of The Greatest Three Year Run In College Football History

Obviously we still have to win the natty and go 15-0 again next season but it’s the off-season so why not speculate. Another three peat would mean that over the course of three seasons we went
44-1
Two 15-0 seasons
32 Game Win Streak
36-0 in the three regular seasons
24-0 in the conference
2 SECCG Titles
3 SEC East Titles
6 Playoff Wins
3 National Titles
Only other season that could possibly compare to that potential run would be Minnesota which went
23-1
Two 8-0 Seasons
14-1 B1G Record
2 B1G Titles
3 National Titles
44-1

It’s very likely we go undefeated in the regular season again. It’s a pretty complete team. The QB position should be in good hands if Monken is here. I’ve said it before and i’ll continue to say it, this front 7 (especially D-Line) will challenge 21’s as possibly the GOAT. Gonna be nasty.

South Carolina and Tennessee might be tough, but agree about the defense, even the secondary.

If you are just going by NCs, then yes, those would be the only 2 teams to do it and we probably edge out Minn
If you are going by domination and best 3 year run, I’m going with Oklahoma in the mid 50s. They dominated everyone, including highly ranked teams. Actually, Bud dominated the entire decade lol

Let's get to G Day, huh?

Being at the top is hard. Keeping the same edge is nearly impossible. Even more you become a prize catch.
Starting next season with a bunch of cupcakes concerns me.

Learning curve for whomever becomes QB1 is going to be pretty steep. Based on returning offensive production, however, we might finally need a Game Manager type for the month of September until everyone settles in.

The two biggest factors will be keeping Monken and trying to maintain and build this teams focus and leadership. With all of the departures and new blood you never know how this team will react and play together.
Assuming Neck is the QB, he looked really comfortable in the offense this year when he got in. Also, we have some good warm up games due to the schedule. The real variable is how he does when the pressure is on for him to score.
Like him or not, Stet was a fricking machine when he had to get down the field and score in tight games when we had to have it.

This. All day long - This. I don't know that there was a QB since AM11 who could put the team on his back and will the offense into winning situations like Bennett. In Murray's case, it was the other pieces of the puzzle who might've let him down, but God knows it wasn't for lack of trying.

Tough is a relative term here.
USCe lost their best TE and RB to the portal.
This game is in Athens and will not be tough.
Honestly, other than the crowd noise in Neyland at the start of the game, I do not see them putting up much of a fight in the end either. Our depth is just too much for 99.9% of teams.

I'm very down on Tennessee's outlook next year. I don't think they'll plummet back to 2012-2020 Tennessee, but they're losing a lot of the guys who allowed them to capture lightning in a bottle in '22.
I think by the time we arrive in Knoxville, the East is on ice and they're merely playing spoiler.

I agree, if you look at 2022 depth chart, nearly the entire D and O was comprised of seniors and super seniors.
If there was a year to get it done, it was going to be the past season and it didn't happen.

I'm just very down on UT and Heupel's gimmick offenses so long as Kirby is at UGA.
Kirby is kryptonite to his version of tempo.

Very much a mickey mouse offense like when Malzahn returned to the plains and gave SEC teams fits for a couple of years before they caught on.

Agree, unless there are special circumstances that mitigate this issue. 2022 had them, and they worked. 2023 has them as well.

It's funny because for 2 years people botched that Stetson is a game manager. Now we've come to the realization that wr might actually need a game manager to replace him. Crazy world.

All great QB's are game managers. Dumbest flame ever.
