Says that Bowers ran on Friday and was able to get a solid workout in. Unsure if he will play but if he does it’ll likely be 10-15 snaps at most. Surprised so see him coming along this fast

I would be shocked if he plays at all.

We have heard kirby tell us countless times over the last 3 years someone is "day to day" or "could've gone in if needed" taht has sat for months. He is also an enormous preacher of having to practice before you can play. I just don't really believe that Brock would go from straight lin running several days ago, to all of a sudden now cutting, blocking, taking hits, and going full pads and be ready to play on saturday.

Don't get me wrong I HOPE that his superhuman recovery is as advertised and we have him close to full strength by knoxville, that would be incredible. I just dont' think this saturday is realistic as far as a timetable based on what we know about the surgery.

This isn’t my take to be fair it’s one of the mods on the 247 board. I personally would be shocked if he plays before the SECCG

I don't know that I want him playing before the SECCG, out of precaution's sake alone.

Maybe a few plays in the Tech game just to get him back in the groove.

Per sofl he ran at full speed and told ned staff he feels fine. Didn't participate in contact drills. Saying he probably plays 10-15 snaps this week. Will be full go for Tennessee

If he played one play that would be a huge momentum opportunity

Good points all around.

He deserves to go out in style in Athens.

This is exactly what the tight rope surgery does. It’s to take a high ankle sprain that could be 8-12 weeks of recovery, down to 3-5 weeks. It also makes the tissue stronger than it was before as it’s no longer loose.

This old Disney Dawg would love to see Bowers run onto the field in uniform and be in one play. Georgia fans will go crazy if he does that.

Posted this in the Bowers thread on tRant-

Saturday will be 26 days since his tightrope surgery. Tua played on day 27 after his tightrope surgery.

I expect if Bowers plays, it will be 10-15 snaps and he’ll likely be a full go for Knoxville the next week.

My Brain says vanderbilt was the last time we saw bowers in red and black unless we use him in the playoffs my heart says I’d really hate to see him not play on senior night and it’s the last time we see him in Athens
