I personally hope we don't pass Bama until we beat them in the SECCG.

I want people doubting this team as long as possible.

We'll be #1 (and we honestly should be based purely on this season). Kirby won't let it get to their heads.

We're really good.

I don't think so. #1 Alabama will likely have to lose to drop down in the polls. Georgia will move up to #2.

1st CFP ranking comes out Tuesday. We could very easily be #1 in that poll.

None of that really matters. IF we make it to Atl it's the equivalent of a +1 playoff game and we get the chance to knock off Bama - who I would assume is the favorite to win it all. Or lose and fall into the purgatory of 1 loss teams with some that will be media favorites over us.

Our playoff runs starts in ATL.

I don't think some of you fully understand the poodle pageant that the playoff zombies foisted on us.....

The higher we are ranked when we go to ATL, the better. As a safety net.

Worth calling out because it's so rare I agree with JD, but... (He's right ya know gif here)

If we can somehow secure the one spot, a loss in ATL, might have a chance at dropping us to 2-3 depending on the rest of the field. Dropping to 4 is dangerous, as the desire to drop us one further will be high to avoid immediate rematch with Bama.

The best thing for Norte Dame is a #1 UGA... therefore, it shall be.

The CFB will put their darling Ohio State #2 and Georgia #3. I think we should be #2 as long as we're winning. Let the SECCG determine the #1 spot.

The CFB probably wants to put a one loss Ohio State ahead of an undefeated UGA but our win against ND makes it very unlikely that they can do it.

Right now it's gonna be Bama at #1 and UGA at #2 and that is the perfect position for UGA to be in at this time.

Remember that the cfb poodle pageant reveal show is exactly that.

= A tv show.

Bama at #1 for hundredth time doesn’t get eyeballs.

Ohio State lost to Oklahoma at home. That should matter considering both are one loss teams. OU's loss to Iowa State also doesn't look as terrible anymore.

We'll be top 2. I can pretty much guarantee that.

We all know what will happen. UGA will be a #2 to Bama up to the SECCG if we remain unbeaten. If we lose and a one loss team gets a shot - it won't be us. Why would you put us in when we just lost to a CFP team? They'll give somebody else a shot. I don't like it - but that'll happen.

IF we make it - gotta beat Bama in Atl. That's it.

I up voted you Squatch just because that’s the only point to be made that would not piss me off.

Losing to a CFP team is why we won’t get in IF we get to that point.

(Still salty if that team that gets in is ND, I’ll frickin burn something to the ground in that scenario)

I could see it, and as a Bama fan I kinda hope it happens. The SEC Championship Game is shaping up to be really tough and Georgia being higher ranked is the kinda thing that Saban would use to make sure our team is pissed. We'll need to be, it's going to be a showdown in Atlanta if both teams make it there.

Unpossible. According to the sports media, the SEC totally sucks now and is a washed up conference.
