If we hit two more three’s and a couple more free throws we win. Even with the horrible free throw shooting. Also, Kentucky had better effort than us on the boards in the last 5 minutes.

When Tyree is on he is a go to player, when he is off he might need to go buy a ticket. 1-9 total, 0-6 from 3pt, atleast two horrible turnovers.
Jordan Harris has so much God given ability it’s not even funny. That finger role late in the game was a thing of beauty. He still doesn’t have it all together but if he gets it before he leaves Athens, lookout below.

In all honesty, if we don't shoot fricking abysmally from three and the stripe, we probably win by 5-10... Also, is it just me or is the threshold for fouls just notably different for Kentucky than us or most anyone that plays them for that matter... Part of it can be explained with style of play, but I watch plays they make defensively that would be categorically whistled if we did it on the other end of the floor.

I honestly think refs work the UK games scared. UK fans are legit crazy and back it up with crazy shite off the court.

Well...I’m embarrassed for missing that call. Really expected us to shoot better beyond the arc.
Turnovers killed us as well. Idk, I think the officiating is so inconsistent it’s not even funny. I think being a basketball official would be one of the hardest jobs in the world but they are waaaaaay under performing in consistency and accuracy.

That game plays out the same way every year.
We come in as massive underdogs, either we play amazing or Kentucky's offense has an out-of-sync night and we lead most of the way, defense collapses in the final 5 minutes, we lose by 6-12 points.
Every. Single. Time.

I thought we methodically beat a less talented team at home. Other than Juwan Parker, who probably played his best game for us, it seemed relatively business like. Which is fine given we probably had a bit of a hangover from the Kentucky game. It was a game we had to have and we got it.
