Yante Maten and JJ Frazier both voted preseason first team all SEC by the SEC coaches. Only other team to have 2 on the 8 man first team in Kentucky.
Going to be a great 1-2 duo to lead a deep team. Excited for tip off tomorrow.

I don't see a potential 1-and-done kid with a shot at being a lottery pick choosing UGA. The exposure and competition at Duke is really second to none and if he goes there and excels then he'll be a top pick. If he goes to UGA and excels, he will get a lot less exposure and people will say it's because he plays against weaker competition. I could be totally wrong, but I see him making the "business decision" and going to Duke.

KCP was a lottery pick and played at UGA.
You also have to remember you get to be "the man" at a school like UGA where you can put up tons of stats. At Duke you're just another talented player. All depends on the kid's preference.

At Duke, the fans love guys like Amile Jefferson and Grayson Allen, but it's the Okefor's, Winslow's, and Giles' that are the superstars now. The ultra-talented freshmen that are superstars on campus, even though most are only there for a year now. at 6'9" 250 lbs, he's college ready... I'll be very surprised if he signs with UGA. Pleasantly surprised, of course.

That is correct. Hammonds as well. We'll also be entertaining a recruit from Florida. That game tonight didn't do us any favors but also didn't hurt us. He, Hammonds, Maten, and Crump could be an elite team. Ha! Nevermind... Fox will still figure out a way to lose to some shitty team early in the season.

We just picked up another commit, 6'8 3* PF Nicolas Claxton from South Carolina. Chose us over FSU, NC State, Baylor and South Carolina.
