Playing like horseshite (again) but up 33-26 on UNC Asheville at the half. Only positive really... JJ and Maten are playing well... other than that... the defensive performance once again is an abomination.

Those guys were a tournament team last year. I'll take a win all day. We aren't the type of team that is just gonna blow out our opponents.

We gave up 46 points and from what I watched, especially towards the end, most of their shots were contested. So I don't follow what you're saying there.
Offense was struggling, but they'll improve. No reason to panic.

tonight was fine except I still feel pretty confident we have no depth. 6 bench points. not sure why anyone thought we would be a deep team. we have 2 players and will go as far as they take us.

I think Crump and Harris can improve as the season goes along and Parker will get back into a groove. Ogbeide needs polish as a scorer, but he's pretty good on the other end. Edwards can provide quality minutes where there isn't just a massive drop-off when he's on the floor (see: Houston Kessler). We don't have UK-type depth, but this is probably our deepest team we've had in quite a while.

Fox teams are always slow to develop and I start every year hating his guts but it eventually comes togeather.
I like our post playerS, but other than Maten, they have no touch to score around the basket and if they can do that, I'll feel a bit better about the offense.
