Someone one want to tell me how UGA has to wait till 2020 to play in the kick off classic at MBS, against UVA. While Aubie gets UDub to kick off 2018, when UGA has nothing scheduled. What the crap!!

They have had no issue scheduling teams every other year. I promise you they are more than happy for a sell out. It's GM inability to make any power plays.
Look at the schedule for 2018!
What a mess. MTSU and UMASS.
What we be perfect is FSU on labor night as a second game in Atlanta since they have been going to 2 games or in Orlando or Tampa. Both schools have an opening

Hell yes, already 2 guaranteed wins. The point of the season is to win as many games as you can, I personally prefer ot make it as easy on ourselves as possible.

Not to mention we are bookending 2018 with a home and away with ND and have another scheduled with UCLA. I get bitching about Greg but this is stupid.

Really much better than our odd year schedules and
they're especially bad since AU pulled the 2 consecutive
home games against us a while back.
Mizzou and SC games are the home games that'll be remotely interesting in '17 and I think we get ND in '19
but even with the occasional Bama or LSU rotation our odd years are still very bad.
Reason I cancelled my season tickets.

Downside of having our biggest game in Jacksonville every year is that it's never in Athens. Upside is that it's an amazing weekend if you can make it work.

Yep and I'll still hit up Jax every year but we still shouldn't lump all our other big rivalry games together at home on even years.Its really a solid arguement to get the game out of Jacksonville...which I don't want to do.

2020 was the 1st available slot when CKS and ADGM asked
the Atlanta Sports Council on availability after the UNC game.

They didn't announce Auburn Wash 2018 unitil this past November. So it wasn't the first avail back in September.
And while I completely agree with some of the comments above about finishing the season in the dome; the 2018 season, the one everybody looks at as the season potentially, the OOC is awful.
Now UGA may go undefeated and not have any issues, but what if there is a loss. It will come into play. The national media is already claiming that the SEC is at best on par with the BIG and ACC, NOT the absolute best conference. Wins against MTSU, Murray St , and UMASS does not help.

blame the commish for that, not our fault.
Making us play back to back at AU with no return to make it right is still appalling to me.

Have no ides what was behind it but its long term results really screwed our season ticket holders...plus
it just gives us a tougher shot at getting to the SECCG when we have to go on the road every other year against our main rivals
