ladyluck, I remember when you first started that you said that you were a uga girl or whatever the hosstesses are called.
Not BSing you here...what were your duties? Like what was a normal day/weekend like recruiting for you?

Do not give a frick of TB joins CMR in Miami. If he had gone to Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Clemson, FSU, USCe or any othei program we seriously compete with for recruits - THEN I'd give a frick. As it is ....

we were called Georgia Girls. Every girl would get assigned to a certain recruit during their visit on game day. We would all meet up at BM where they had plenty of food, meet/greet, hangout until time to go to the game. Back then, they actually had us walk from BM to the stadium with the recruits (i understand they don't do this anymore) and during the hotter days it sucked. We'd sit with them during the game. during warm-ups, we were on the field before walking up to our seats.
that was it during the season. OV off-season, depending on the recruit, they'd have a number of us meet up with certain coaches/player hosts at Sanford for the tour/have their name on UGA jerseys and hear their name get broadcast over the loud speaker. that part was pretty cool.
the best part was getting to meet Walter Payton. he hung out with us and the recruits before a game one time. i remember him saying how much he liked UGA and thought we produced the best RBs out of any school ever. i mean, we know that but to hear Sweetness himself say it was awesome.

how many of the georgia girls (and I'm not including you, so you can leave yourself out) would get physical with recruits on their visits during the offseason? Was it assumed that recruits would be given drugs and alcohol?
Also depending on how recently you were there we proabbly know a few of the same people.

i have no idea to your first question... i know of couple of well known recruits/players that ended up dating Georgia Girls that were assigned to them.
i'm sure those that wanted to drink/party, whatever, had the liberty to do so while in Athens, but don't think they were ever "given" those things...at least not by UGA, if that's what you mean.

I heard on the recruiting front that BMac and Smart used to not have such a great relationship on the recruiting trail so I'd say he's almost certainly gone.

frick....derrr man, hell yeah kirby needs to be in athens asap. Just read where sony was happy that TB was sticking around to make an easier transition to the new staff. Wonder if he bolts to the U now.

I've heard mixed results when it comes to Rocker although I'm glad he's staying
Rocker and Sherrer both recruit very well. The former DC hasnt been replaced yet, but if we hire Tosh to replace him, thats not a drop off.
