Everyone on planet Earth knows what the problem is. The offense is a broken system. It will not get better. It will in fact get worse over time.

He has to hire a great OC and fix it or this is the best it will ever get.

He can’t catch the ball for our receivers

He had Fields. He also could have gone out and gotten a real OC like Orgeron did. Kirby did not and this is the offense we're stuck with. How he can look at LSU, Clemson, and Ohio State's offense and be ok with ours is hard to comprehend.

If we begin the 2020 season with James Coley at OC, then Kirby should be fired.

At this point, he is Will Muschamp.

He could have Simmons catch that first ball and changed the game.....

Wouldn’t have mattered. Would’ve been 27-10 MAYBE.

He also can't hit wide open receivers for Jake Fromm, who sucks to high heaven.

If Fromm could have hit a wide open Demetris Robertson on that very same drive, we're open 7-0.

Defense should just refuse to go back out onto the field

I'm seriously just glad this season is done.

This was already the most difficult 11-1 season I've seen from Georgia's football program. All of the offensive struggles/regression and injuries have just made this season so unenjoyable.

Smart has built a strong defense but this game shows that you can't win a championship anymore when your offense is this inept and poorly coached.

You are correct. I apologize. Muschamp would never get embarrassed to this degree

We had our chance to win a natty, and didn't do it. Now we'll have to watch LSU win another one, or worse, we'll watch our former backup QB lead his team to one.

Kirby needs to stop believing the rat poison about how great he is.

I think this is Kirby’s penance for the hubris he showed in stubbornly sticking with Fromm and letting a possible generational talent walk.

Must be. I know I talk entirely too much shite about it, but I'm angry that we miss on these players, or let them walk. We completely whiffed on Deshaun Watson, we recruited Cam as a TE, and we let Fields walk in favor of keeping the lesser player. That combined with Kirby's mistake in hiring Coley for the wrong reasons is Kirby's undoing.

I agree with Dawgday. This season should have been a lot more fun after going 11-1. It felt a lot like watching the 2016 team that went 7-5. To NCDawg's point. I think if the offense struggles like it did this year next year; then attendance and donations will drop. There's just no excuse for how bad this offense was this year. Was listening to Jeff Dantzler on the call in show. He had a good comment on how he can't ever remember this much pressure on a UGA team after 2 straight trips to the SECCG and coming up short the last few years.

We beat Notre Dame, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, won 11 games and the SEC East for the third year in a row.

Not happy about how the SECCG went, but it's not like we were facing a 7-5 poser. We were facing a team with a QB who is having the best season in the history of the conference.

That doesn't mean we have to be happy with our offense, but it's also no reason to slit your wrists and insult members of our team and coaches like we're Vandy.
