I'm starting to think our defense is decent.

Still waiting for the first rushing TD against this defense.

What's crazy is there isn't a real superstar on this unit. No All-Americans who are gamechangers every week like Roquan or Jarvis or Pollack.

These guys just continue to play great team defense.

First season with 3 shutouts since 1981

9th straight game without giving up a rushing TD

Low key one of the best Georgia defenses we have ever seen

We had an early Thanksgiving gathering today. While watching the Bama/LSU game a Bama fan turned to me and asked where has Bama’s defense gone. I said Athens, Ga! Built by Kirby!

Crowder Herring have really impressed me I also like DJ Daniel A LOT. Nolan Smith is going to be a freak of nature next year

Proud of the shutout. It builds energy for the D.

Have we actually played any SEC team’s starter?

On the other hand..think we just scored the second fewest points of any team against Missouri.

Travon Walker too. I think a big part is Clark playing better and Jordan Davis staying healthy and getting even better.

You can very quickly look that up and see that it isn't remotely accurate. Mizzou's defense is the strength of their team.

re: Third shutout of the season.
Wyoming (lol) scored 30*
Kentucky scored 29
Ole Miss scored 27

So, tied for 3rd most allowed by Mizzou on the season.

FWIW, the most Georgia's defense has allowed in 9 games is 17, twice.

DJ Daniel needs to shut his mouth and let his play do the talking. Seems like every time he's on screen he's out there getting caught up on some verbal shite... But I like where he's heading

Pretty sure he’s a juco transfer so I’d assume junior

Defense is real good this year. If we could put a bit more pressure and get more sacks would be unstoppable. Will be real interesting if we go up against Burrow in the SECCG. Think LSU and Burrow will try to get some yards on designed QB runs. We also have Auburn and A&M so lot of tests to come for the D.

Disagree. Against FBS with winning records (2 teams) Mizzou is giving up 32 ppg. and we only scored 27, Wyoming scored 37.

If we needed to score more points that game, we could have methinks. When your defense is shutting the team out, you eat clock and try to control the ball.

I'm just saying Mizzou's D isn't all that great. The only winning team they played besides us scored big on them.

re: Third shutout of the season.
Monty Rice is becoming the truth. We are solid at every line of our defense. And deep. I was concerned about our DL. Meanwhile, no one has scored a rushing TD on us in 9 games.

I think we're fine on the DL.

I love this defense.
