Bennett went 18-40, 269 yds, 2 TDs and 3 INTs against Bama last year.
Fields went 17-33, 194 yds, 1 TD no ints against Bama. But he did have 67 yds rushing.
The picks are obviously bad…but Bennett’s production was the same as Fields. So I think it’s only fair to say Fields is every bit as good as Bennett if not a little better.

OhState did score a single TD in the second half…whereas we didn’t. Another check for the generational talent…I mean they only lost by 28 pts.

Bennett doesnt need any time in the nfl. Just complete passes, convert first downs, and help the team win. This is college football. What they do the day before sunday is most important.

Who arguably had more talent around him. The question isn't what Bennett did or didn't do in that game...it's what UGA would have done in that game had we been starting a healthy Daniels or (insert name of any future 1st round pick).
Now if Bennett starts against Auburn or Florida a bit down the road and throws 5 TDs in a half, I will reconsider my assessment.

You judged Bennett based on his performance vs upper tier SEC teams last year. Based on that metric, Fields sucks too. Also, Ohio State had the most NFL players drafted last year… tied with Bama.

Yet despite this odd man crush on Bennett, you appear unable to address why Fields just got millions to play in the NFL...as did Stafford before and Daniels will in the near future...yet Bennett will likely be undrafted and forgotten in a few years.
Unless you think Bennett actually IS as talented as those other folks but no one realizes it but a few expert scouts here on the UGA board? Lol

We saw osu vs minnesota and oregon. They have our level talent but largely play teams full of 2-3 star players.
He looked human vs equal and sometime not even equal talent. They only blewout clemson because they caught clemson cheating and sprung a trap on them mid game(as they should have).
My point, its ironic that people keep saying its was only uab, 3/4s of the big10 would be in a real game with uab.
Fields(in college) did exactly what bennett did this weekend, beat the hell out of team they should beat the hell out of. Though bennett did it without all the protypical nfl traits, kid is legend.
