I don't remember his name but he was a wide receiver, highly recruited, that signed with Oklahoma about 2 years ago, maybe.
Does anyone know if he has played any for them or is still on the roster?

Haselwood. He played at Cedar Grove.
Got hurt freshman year. Hadn't done much. We'll see how he bounces back next season.

This... Though with Arik likely entering the portal, may not be room at the inn for both (if we can land them). I think Kirby is in the midst of some massive prioritization efforts on recruiting + portal needs...

Neither need to end up at UF.
Mullen maybe an average recruiter with HS kids but seems to have some good luck with the portal

If I was a receiver, you'd be hard pressed to sell me UF as a transfer spot this year with Trask definitely gone and Emory Jones looking like a run first, second, and third option.

The inn will have a lot more places moving forward because of the portal as well....no need to convince them to medically release anymore

Until there is a change to the 25 initial counter limit, not really. Transfers still count against that number.

How is it you're on the internet but can't provide specific details?

It was an attempt to start a different conversation. I appreciate the effort.

Because I knew people would know exactly who I was talking about. His recruitment was very newsworthy at the time, was all over the internet.

I remember his recruitment. OU got him; we 'settled' for Blaylock. Although he got hurt, Blaylock has definitely had the better career thus far.

... We were taking Blaylock either way. We landed *Pickens* after we lost Haselwood. In either case, we have come out ahead so far. FWIW, prior to Arik Gilbert rumors about going to the portal, there was some back channel discussion that Haselwood might want to come to Athens. Keep an eye on it, though space is just going to difficult to work out I think with everything the staff *could* bring in.

Based upon the 10 minute mark on this I’m not so sure I’d want Haselwood (or his mom) around the program. Particularly at the cost of a spot for someone else. We don’t need a knucklehead messing with team chemistry. If he doesn’t like Georgia and UGA’s coaching staff then he isn’t needed. Yeah. I know some of the staff is now gone but not everyone he was talking about is.

I’ve had him on Twitter for ever. He’s a an attention whore convinced white folks are evil. He can sit his arse in Oklahoma.

Didn't he call Kirby a "used car salesman" or something of that nature after he committed to OU?

That was Chaney who was recruiting him 2 to 3 days before he took the pay raise and left for tennessee.
Haselwood had a point

When he talked about The coaches in the past it sure didn’t sound like he was talking about 1 particular person.

Damn right...we got the better end all the way around.

Gotcha, for some reason I thought his comments were directly aimed towards Kirby but if they were directed at Chaney that would make more sense.
