A multiple D out of a 4-3. Again, if you have 4 guys on the line with their hands in the dirt and only 3 LB's on the field the vast majority of the time, which is what they had, it's a base 4-3, period.
Pulling a LB for a nickel is multiple. Pulling a DT and LB for a dime secondary/cover 3 is multiple. But they're still a base 4-3.
And again, Pruitt has been a DC for a whopping 1 year. 11 seniors, 3 juniors, and 3 soph's in his game rotation this year.
This is not a guy we should want.

here's their depth chart off their own site. You'll notice 2 ends, 2 tackles, and specifically sam, mike, and will LB's only.
FSU runs a base 4-3.
Way to completely misread what I said. I said they run a 4-3 base but they run 3-4 and 4-2-5 as well. They will run more 3-4 in the coming years as Pruitt recruits more 3-4 guys.

What I find intriguing is that Smart would put himself into a 5 year deal as a DC. Wondering exactly how much he really wants to be a HC. Bobo has stated on the record he does want to be one. To be honest, I would rather have Bobo as a HC is if comes down to that. He has the better personality to handle all the duties of the job. Also, if one can make a cool 1.5 mill as a DC with a 5 year contract, who necessarily wants the added headaches of being a HC? I guess we will all find out.

I'm aware of what they run bc I attended several of their games this year and most of my friends down here are fsu fans. They will flip to a 34 bc that is Pruitt's philosophy. However, lets not derail this thread. Kirby or bust!

Most coordinator contracts include stipulations that there will be no penalty for a coach to leave if he is offered a HC gig somewhere. It's guaranteed money for Smart but allows him an out if a bigger gig comes calling.

You're just wrong and obviously lying about watching "every" FSU game. Right.
They never put 4 LB's on the field in any single game. Not once. And Edwards, Goldman, nor McAllister ever stood up and played off the line.
But whatever. Stupid argument. You clowns are foaming over Pruitt and you don't have a clue. You just see the NC and think he must be awesome. Foolishness.
