This may be the beginning of the end of the ACC and the way we think about the power 5.

This is nuts. Nothing for Xfinity? I've been happy with them, but this is just dumb....

I cut the cord a few years back. I use a combination of Amazon Cubes, Fire TVs, and smart TVs with Fire built in, Netflix, Playstaion Vue and what ever app I need to watch games.

Apps list included, CBS sports, ESPN, ABC, Fox Sports, and a few others.
Most of the apps are free if you log into them with your Playstation Vue account. You can pick up local games with apps as well.

I am done after 25 years with Dish....... I was literally coming here to ask if anyone has cut the cord yet and gone with Youtube TV, Hulu or whatever for recommendations.

Youtube TV is the best out of the streaming services in my experience (almost no buffering, excellent channel selection, easy access anywhere, and unlimited DVR).

I've tried them at all and live with terrible DSL internet service from Windstream. Playstation Vue would be the next best. Both Youtube TV and Vue should carry all the local stations (ABC, CBS, FOX, etc.) as well as have all the ESPN channels and affiliates as well as the Fox regional sports network for the Braves.

SlingTV is the worst streaming service I've tried (constant buffering) and Hulu with Live TV is OK, but I find its layout, proprietary ads and DVR to be generally terrible. It does give you access to TV shows and other content beyond live TV, though.

What do you spend monthly now? Is there any channels you cant get this way? Specifically sports and kids stuff like Nickelodeon and Disney? I'm forking out damn near $200 a month to Dish and cant even watch the Braves games. If they dont have the CBS shite fixed soon I'm going to find an alternate route.

Close your eyes. Imagine Clemson playing pretty bad but going against an elite High School team.

That's the game. You're welcome.

The package I use is $59.99 a month. I've not had any issue getting games. As I stated earlier, some times the game will be on CBS ABC etc. and it will require downloading their app if it's not on VUE. Most of those apps are free with the Vue subscription.

ESPN is the exception for now. They did provided full access to the watch ESPN app with a Vue subscription, however, they recently changed it to require a $4.99 a month subscription.

I can't speak to the rest, but there's plenty of kids stuff available through Netflix. I think our youngest watches nothing but Netflix when we're at home.

That will be the biggest meltdown you'll ever see. They may no longer be able to offer service in the state.
