Miami has self-imposed a bowl ban so they will not play FSU in the title game. Now Tech will represent the division...a likely 6-6 team with a 1-3 OOC record will play in the ACCCG. Congratulations Tech on winning your division. Also, congratulations to the ACC for finally proving they are, indeed, America's Crappiest Conference.

Big East is worse. Rutgers will probably win the conference and they got trounced at home by Kent State.
UGA has to win every game to reach their goals. Tech just has to beat FSU. If they have one eye looking at the Noles, Saturday will get really, really ugly.

I'd still go with the Big East as the crappiest BCS conference, ACC still has FSU, Clemson, and Va Tech (even though it's been a down year for the VT). GT playing in the title game is a joke though.

They once made rings out of a singular UGA victory. I don't think they will have one eye looking at the Noles.
They probably care more about ruining our chances to make a NC run than they do playing in the ACC Champ game.

GOTN :) Auburn, no SEC wins, Tenn, no SEC wins, Kentucky, no SEC wins... Mizzou loses to Syracuse this weekend.. Want to make more predictions on UF/FSU or USC/Carolina?

Tech is garbage and the acc is a high school league....

ACC shite talking isn't just boring, its downright sad. The ACC is a terrible conference from top to bottom. Au would be 7-5 in the ACC. While making fun of GT is too easy, I will say that USCe and CLemson will be a very good game and FSU FL will too. USCe can easily keep clemson's offense off the field, its the USC O I see struggling in that one. As for FL and FSU, if FL plays like they did last week, they will get spanked. Heres how I see it:
Fl- 21
FSU- 37
GT-14
UGA-35
USCe-24
Clemsux-21

FSU 24 UF 10
Clemson 28 USCe 20
Vandy a lot Wake a little
Taking a chance with Clemson here. Boyd has been red hot (8 TD last week was incredible) and they have the best 1-2 punch at WR outside of USC in the nation. Watkins and Hopkins will keep defensive coordinators awake at night. Clemson is at home, USCe is banged up, and this game is Clemson's shot at an at-large BCS game. I don't think they'll blow it because Dabo has gotten the Tommy Bowden suck out of the program and made them mentally tougher.

Kinda funny that the loser of the ACCCG(gt) will have to petition the NCAA for an exception to go to a Bowl game with a losing record(6-7) & just 5 wins over FBS teams...

Will probably be granted too. UCLA was in the same situation last year and got a bowl game.

Thought I read somewhere that a conf. championship loser becomes bowl-eligible by rights.

If they have a 6-7 record, they have to petition to NCAA as far as I know. It has only happened once with UCLA last year and NCAA granted the request, and would probably do the same for GT this year if it comes to that.

Winning by default is embarrassing. They needed a team to straight up say we give up, you take it. Sad stuff.
