Horrible for Marshall. Hopefully Gurley gets healthy and Green can be the speed back to change up the pace. He's not Marshall but hopefully he can bring a similar dimension to compliment Gurley.

Coons injury/depth situation is no good. Still wish they hadn't given up so many draft picks for Julio. Still paying for him.
Julio is one of the elite receivers, as a Pats fan I wish they would have given up something to try to get a game breaker like that given the Pats spotty drafting. Things are going good right now for the Pats but the receiving corps is not good enough to win a Super Bowl.

Man that is some porous defense. Some of these guys playing receiver for the Pats could be bagging groceries next year at this time.

Unless Clemson trips up vs a team that has no business losing to like a BC or something their challenging games would be FSU, Maryland, USCe, and then potentially Miami in the ACCCG. Oregon and Stanford play each other so there's a loss for one of those teams. Although maybe it's a little premature to start figuring out where each unbeaten team will slip, halfway through the year it always looks like there will be a bunch of undefeated team and then upsets, head to head matchups happen, etc then next thing you know there one undefeated team and a bunch of 1 and 2 loss teams. Dawgs just need to worry about taking care of business pursue the SEC Title and let the chips fall where they may.

I'm not sure if you can say he won't live up to the hype. Him and Gurley each put together very good freshman seasons. Marshall was the 5 star prospect and was more coveted than Gurley but it's clear Gurley is a beast and the more complete back. Any back having to currently live up to what Gurley brings is gonna fall short. At the very least Marshall will continue to be a perfect compliment to a healthy Gurley. They're both good backs but Gurley is special as long as he stays healthy.

Half these football players wouldn't even be in school if it weren't for athletics. And they're going to cry about free college? I absolutely cannot stand that.
And how can you even begin to quantify what a reasonable stipend would be? And if you did quantify it, would you pay the third stringer the same as the starting QB? Does the middle reliever in women's softball get something too? And whatever number you come up with, I can promise you a thousand times over that it won't be enough. The elite atheletes will eventually want more. And at that point the integrity of college athletics will be completely compromised. We're already on our way as it is - paying players under the table, players who get booted off one team only to be welcomed with open arms onto another team. It's absolutely disgusting. And some of us don't want to watch the NFL and Sunday AND Saturday.

Don't blame the captain, it was my fault. I was away and tried to keep up on it on my phone but slacked because it was a bye week and must have missed the thread. :banghead:

First someone needs to make up a story about his fake girlfriend dying.
