Also the last two years Kirby shut down injury reports during spring so where is this coming from?
I think the only thing he did is bar reporters from reporting injuries they witnessed before the family could be contacted/Kirby could comment on it.

The OLine is still being shuffled, but it sounds like three spots are basically decided:

LT: Thomas
C: Gaillard
RT: Wilson

Cleveland's got a pretty good hold on the RG spot, but there's still some wiggle room. LG sounds like a three-way battle between Kindley, Baker and, somewhat surprisingly, Trey Hill.

Those 3 are just keeping that LG spot warm until Salyer shows up- gonna be a battle!

I've been hearing that T Hill has been making some noise. Dude faced some talent while in high school so it seems the transition may not be as tough compared to guys who doesn't go up against good talent in high school almost every week.

Also on the radio a few days ago, the radio host and a UGA news reporter were speaking about how Kirby has so many talented guys that he could afford to switch them around to see who fits with who best. The radio host made the comment that this has never happened before while at UGA, and as someone mentioned early, just wait until Salyer gets in the mix. We are just studded out on OL potential that we haven't ever seen before, and the biggest difference is in the number of quality players we have.

The other good thing is how much youth it is. We've got two seniors (Gaillard and Baker). Beyond that:

Thomas - So.
Wilson - Rs. Fr.
Cleveland - Rs. So.
Hill - Fr.
Salyer - Fr.

These guys are gonna be around for a while.

I don't know which prospect has me more excited - OL depth or WRs bring able to show out by working with the same QB as the previous season for the first time since AM11.

I thought Cleveland was on the outs? Or am I thinking Madden?

Madden was medically disqualified. Cleveland is a Komatsu D575A that loves to open a new cut.

With Davis and Walthour not getting here till Summer, we're pretty thin at DT.

It's the only position we haven't nailed in recruiting the last 2 years.

"Mark Webb is one of the toughest kids I’ve coached. He won’t take himself out. He continues to grow and develop. He’s physical and tough, and I like that about him,” Smart says.

Gotta feel good about Webb with Gibb's status up in the air.

Gibbs is going to rebound. Webb is physically imposing as a DB. High hopes for them both

Is Webb working at safety, corner, or star?

I figure Lecounte and Reed are at safety right now.
I know that Webb has worked at corner in the past. But I was wondering how much they are cross training him.

What I am hearing is that Webb has been taking reps at CB...haven’t heard about any other DB positions when his name comes up. The ones that seem to get mentioned for multiple positions are Tyrique, William Poole, Divaad before he got hurt.

I’m no insider, and I could be completely wrong...but that’s what I’ve been getting from the podcasts and articles I frequent.

Webb is a CB all the way. At least I've never heard any different.

He did, they said they were trying to teach him Star. Said it was better for him to be learning it now during the spring then to try to throw it on him during the fall

I think I heard Webb is a CB getting reps at star just in case he’s needed there due to injury. Similar to how most of our offensive linemen learn multiple positions for worst case scenarios.
