I'm not sure there's a player I'm more excited to watch this season than Mark Webb.

Absolutely love the future potential of our defensive backs with Webb, Speed, Campbell, and Divaad Wilson (after he recovers) at corner.

Outside of Campbell when he arrives Bishop may be UGA's most athletic player in the secondary but it will be hard to move Reed and Lecounte down the depth chart I imagine, a lot of talent in the back end. I would be surprised if McGhee can hold off Webb/Speed/Campbell opposite Baker.

Kirby was talking about McGhee being a player in the mix at Star. I think he wants more length at corner than TM brings to the table.

Bishop is more of a safety and is still pretty raw. I was referring to our potential to have lockdown corners on both sides of the field.

We haven’t practiced since Saturday so nothing new. They start back this afternoon for the 7th practice. Kirby says the Freshman have hit a wall from all that’s thrown at them and that the intensity was not good Saturday.

Justin Fields is struggling a little bit, but says that’s due to all the new drills and different approach to the offense....along with all the installments, as they do not taper it down for him

Justin Fields will be just fine. Give him a minute. He has to learn an entire new system, be able to make the calls, learn the players and their capabilities, adjust to college life in what should still be his senior year of HS. It’s been a week.....LOL

There will be no discussion on JF1 until he takes JF11's job!

Sarcasm. Apparently you cannot handle spring practice updates.

55 year old mortgage originator from Acworth vs Barstool Panic stooge...

I’m going with the winner.

Here's how the AJC says the OL is shaking out so far. It's obviously all very tentative, as we change lineups mid-game, let alone in Spring.

1st team:
LT - Andrew Thomas
LG - Kendall Baker
C - Lamont Gaillard
RG - Ben Cleveland
RT - Isaiah Wilson

2nd team:
LT - D'Marcus Hayes
LG - Trey Hill
C - Warren Ericson
RG - Solomon Kindley
RT - Cade Mays

No real surprises. Looks like Wilson is winning the battle with Mays, at least so far.

As a side note: the average weight of that 1st team line is 323 lbs. The 2nd team averages 321. The lightest guy in the 2-deep is Gaillard at 308.

This is why we have a stable to RB's

Injuries are really beginning to take a toll on Georgia's depth this spring with running back being the latest position to be affected.
-D'Andre Swift is working with a "groin injury" for the time being
-Brien Herrien has also been "dinged up" during spring. Both have been going through individual drills during media-viewing periods but persons with knowledge of the situation say they have been limited during more contact-intensive portions of practice.
-Zamir White, the nation's No. 1 running back in the 2018 class per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, is also participating in individual drills but hasn't yet been cleared for contact after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL in December. Smart has mentioned on multiple occasions that White is a little ahead of schedule in his recovery but there's zero chance he'll participate in full this spring.
-Elijah Holyfield is the only healthy RB
-Prather Hudson, a walk on, has seen an increase in his number of reps.

Some of those injuries could be the kind that you play through the pain in the regular season but since it’s still Spring they are limited.

Also the last two years Kirby shut down injury reports during spring so where is this coming from?
