We need a 13th regular season game. Maybe Troy wants a rematch during our bye week?

I agree with maybe 2-3 games, but this is a media shite storm with everyone writing an article every hour. When it settles down next week, we should get something firm.

we will beat Uf with or without Gurley...there offense is horrible...and they just lost Harris...Driskel is the worst to play at UF in years at QB...

Manziel missed half a game vs Rice....a deal they made with the NCAA....no money changed hands on video, if Gurley denies this stuff, he should sit first half Saturday

That's the thing, it seems like Gurley admitted to it when questioned by Richt.

It also helped Manziel that his allegations came down in July where aTm had a month or so to prepare a case for the NCAA. We have a day.

does anyone have info on UGA's plans to ask for reinstatement?

We can possibly beat Mizzou w/out gurley

Hell, we COULD even beat Ark or Fla - not saying we will, but:

Mizz lost to Indiana

Ark - has not won an SEC game in 2 years

Fla - looks beatable, almost lost to KY

no kool aid from me anymore, I don't know that we really ca win without our best player, but none of the next 3 games are automatic (L's)

Deep down I want to believe he didn't actually do it, but if he did, I hope it's a situation where his family needed it or something at least I could understand. If not, what the frick was we he thinking. Just keep your head down, work hard this year, and you're a millionaire at the end of the season.

Apparently we can only ask for reinstatement after the NCAA does whatever they do.

HOpefully, which is not likely, the NCAA will actually move their arse and find whatever they find within a week. Absolute best case scenario is he's only our for missouri. If they end up finding proof of more money, like in the thousands, he could miss up to 4 games.

I feel bad for the guy, for what ever the reason if it happened. Wasn't it posted on here recently that he asked for his picture not to be taken in public? Sounds like a guy wanting to stay out of the spotlight

FWIW, ESPN's Insider Pick Center was giving us 64% chance of beating Mizzou yesterday. They are now giving Mizzou 68% chance of beating us, and that's not yet factoring in new lines that Vegas has yet to put out

I don't think he admitted it to Richt. I think it's just this guy that wants a lot of attention and wanted to create a front page sports center story. And he got it...

Manziel also lawyered up with the quickness and dared the NCAA to come after him. That's why they were able to make a deal. Unless we're lawyering up and threatening the same thing, we'll be forced to take whatever the NCAA wants to give.

Guy on another board, who is typically in the know on things, posted a little while ago.

Paraphrasing...he said that TG admitted he took money (undisclosed amount). The only proof of wrongdoing is his admission of guilt. It's out of our hands now and we're simply waiting on the NCAA to rule, which should be some time next week.
