He (Hurd) was one of the SEC’s finest freshman at any position a year ago, rushing for 899 yard and five touchdowns, including four 100-yard games (three against SEC foes and the fourth in a bowl win over Iowa). He’ll be complemented by Kamara, the Vols’ only healthy scholarship back for much of the spring.
Seems legit

In all seriousness, those teams should have good running games but our combination of OL and the RBs we have should put us in the top 2 (not that this list matters). Arkansas will always be strong in the running game too under Beliema.

I'm actually interested to see how Auburn's offense changes with Johnson. He seems to have a strong arm but, as much as people say Malzahan has a high flying offense, at the end of the day he seems to prefer to relentlessly pound teams on the ground and find ways to throw off of that. Wonder how all that changes without a running QB.

And LSU should be on there, ahead of Alabama too in my opinion. Fournette is gonna be really good once he gets more experience.

"Ethan Levine"

Does this dumbass not realize that Chubb, by himself, is probably going to run more yards than any "tandem" backfield in the SEC combined?

Does this retard even know basic math? What a shite site. Won't be visiting it again anytime soon.

I think Chubb is All-World but he had only 12 yards in the 2nd half(including overtime)

Can someone explain this?

#1... I'll give them Williams & Collins at #1 till we settle on a backup RB...

#2 AU... Roc Thomas & Jovon Robinson... Thomas rushed for 214yds on 43 carries with 2 TD's & Robinson has never had a carry in a FBS game...

#3. Jalen Hurd rushed for 899 yard on 190att. and five touchdowns & Alvin Kamara like Robinson has never had a FBS carry...

WTF???...

I guess Marshall, Douglas, Hicks don't bring anything to the table... Hell...Turman should be listed #2 for us since SEC production doesn't mean shite in this article....

IMO the fumble at the 1 got into Chubb's head. Being self-conscious about not fumbling the ball results in fewer broken tackles, not finishing runs, etc.

Also give credit to Tech's DL for taking it to our OL in the second half

I just think yalls defensive line outplayed our oline by a mile. It was excruciating to watch but part of me was happy to see KeShun do well cause he's a friend of mine. Excited to see what he can do next year.... Besides against UGA

So our #1 RB is the only returning 1st Team All SEC RB. Our backup is a five star RB who excelled whenever he saw the field last year. We return the best OL in the entire conference.

Tennesee's #1 RB did not reach 1,000 yards even though he started all season. Tennessee's backup RB didn't make Bama's squad and has yet to take a snap in D-1. Tennessee returns their OL, but they were a train wreck last year.

So of course they rank them ahead of us.

Chubb puts up 129 yards rushing on 25 carries and 36 yards receiving on 3 receptions on you, and you're like, "12 yards in second half!".

You are just all sorts of special retard, aren't you?

Yall are forgetting that Keith Marshall led SEC freshmen in YPC his first year. Higher than Gurley. If he stays healthy, and shakes The Fear, you have to keep him in the discussion too.

Chubb, Michel, a healthy Marshall, a proven Douglas, and a wildcard in Turman?

SDS just wants hits.

Any production from Marshall at this point is just gravy.

Rig..you seem to have some background in journalism based on your posts. Is there some inner draw to put a unique perspective out there that overrides common sense. I mean...do you think people that write this shite generally have a bias and believe what they say...or are they doing it to be contrarian and drive discussion?

Oh Ethan Levine, you big fat jew. How the hell would you know who has the best RB tandem, you're at Temple on Saturdays.

The short answer to your question is that the people you are asking about are not journalists. They were pretty good at writing papers in high school and college, but they aren't journalists.

And absolutely they are driving traffic. That's their business model. Same as a newspaper writes headlines to sell newspapers.. back when newspapers existed.

That's why places like Bleacher Report make everything a slideshow instead of just a story. Each slide you click through is another "hit". It's 100% intentional.

Chubb laughs at this.
