but having George catch it stride running down the field isn’t necessarily a bad thing either.

He's not saying that it isn't and he did throw it to em in stride on one of his TD's

On the TD before the halftime he knew he had a free play and took a shot.

IF he's in man and running a sideline or fade its almost a no-brainer to throw it up so he can grab it.

I saw the number 5 on the back of GP's helmet and thought he was wearing Landers's for some reason.

It was a ploy. The opponents know Landers can’t catch Covid.

We get Dom back next year as well.

And Marcus Rosemy, too. He was impressive until his ankle got twisted backwards.

Assuming no unexpected departures, UGA's 2021 wide receiver room is incredible:

George Pickens
Jermaine Burton
Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint
Kearis Jackson
Dom Blaylock
Arian Smith
Justin Robinson
Tommy Bush
Ladd McConkey

Oh...yeah, Matt Landers is back, too. Unless he transfers.

New signees not even included but looks like we've got Meeks and Mitchell for sure plus maybe we pick up one of the 4 star types that are still on the market. Either way, WR is clearly a tough sell this cycle with the people we have coming back.

I bet landers didn’t catch it when he tossed it back.

Someone posted earlier the D Rob might come back. Not sure if we have room but it wouldn't be a bad move on his part if he can get some PT next year.Don't think he'll get many NFL looks

The guy is probably the second fastest kid on the team. With effective downfield passing he'll get opportunities.

Can't go wrong with speed AND experience at WR

Looks like we are taking extra pre-cautions with Pickens to keep him healthy. Even his teeth.

That used to be the Oakland Raiders strategy, but for years, they forgot to get fast, experienced receivers *who could catch*.

True. Robertson is a senior but I keep forgetting about the COVID bonus year. So the WR room is REALLY impressive...but crowded. 12 scholarship WRs listed below...and that's without Blount and Tongue, who are already in the transfer portal.

How many WRs would we typically carry on scholarship? Any chance that Landers and Bush are considering the portal as well?

George Pickens
Jermaine Burton
Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint
Kearis Jackson
Dominick Blaylock
Demetris Robertson
Arian Smith
Justin Robinson
Tommy Bush
Ladd McConkey
Adonai Mitchell*
Jackson Meeks*

Not even close to comparable. You also need guys who run routes properly along
with making adjustments and reads and that only comes with expirience with CFB WR's.

Its a far more difficult position to learn than 20+ years ago.
