I worry that we won't put enough pressure on Stidham and he will pick us apart. They are a very good football team. Solid defense that can stop the run and have a QB who can make plays when given time. This could very well be a loss for us if we don't have a good game plan. This is a yuuuge test on the road.

They're pretty good. This game will be a HUGE challenge imo.
It's going to be our toughest game of the season @Jordan Hare. Auburn is legit. Their only loses came against last seasons NC, Clemson, 14-6, and LSU 27-24. Their defense is solid and their DB's are exceptional. Hopefully we can run the ball against them. They have a big play passing game and a big back running attack. Our defensive backfield better be ready to cover receivers better than they did vs SC because Jarrett Stidham can fling it. He went 20-27-0 for 268 yards and 3 touchdown against A&M. The only good news is Stidham isn't much of a runner but he does when he has to.

The concern is Fromm, who has not done well passing the ball on the road.

I think we win big
SC was a bigger threat IMO, because they are better than given credit for & if we were ever gonna be looking ahead, yesterday was the day
We win by 2 tds or more

The dream dies this Saturday.
We are a very good team that has faced only one strong opponent all year...and we were fortunate to scrape by with a close win.
Auburn will do what what SC tried but could not do defensively.
They will also take advantage of the chinks in our armor in the secondary.
Close game but Auburn is drooling at the opportunity to take down an overrated #1 team.
Still...most predicted us as 9-3 this year so we're exceeding expectations even with a one-loss regular season.

Not writing it off but yea, if we lose in a close contest against Auburn and then take care of business thereafter, we will still go to the dance with a shot to win a NC.

by this logic AU has only faced one strong opponent all year as well, yet they lost.
I do think AU will be the best team we've faced at the time of game (I think right now AU is better than week 2 ND probably) but I don't necessarily think they're better than we are.
With that said, the only "dream" that could die with a loss on saturday is an undefeated season. We can still win the SEC and national title even with a loss.

Yeah having the nations 3rd best passer is a real drag...
And hopefully Fromm doesn't have to throw much more than typical in achieving those stats.

Why are you being so lazy?
He is 2nd best at home.
He is 59th best on the road.

I saw something completely different than all of you yesterday vs tamu.
I have watched Auburn several times this year, but didn't watch them yesterday. Your observations would have been more recent than mine, and might be more accurate.

We go into Jordan Hare and keep chopping wood and the dream stays alive!!!

Need to win the field position battle, no turnovers, and win time of possession to keep their offense off the field. We do these things we win.

If our defense irons out those 3rd and long situations I really like our chances. If we don't, Fromm is going to have to have a great night.

Stidham is overrated, and Johnson will be worn out in the 2nd quarter facing our defense. They haven't faced RB's like ours either. I think it will be close for the first half, and then we pull away in the 2nd half. I'm going 35-17.

Fromm has made great throws. I'm not worried about him. He has confidence in his receivers and he isn't afraid to take shots. I'm more worried about the OL. AU can get pressure. Jake Holland is a monster

We couldn't do that at home vs carolina, so this is quite an optimistic view.

Given that we only play one game there, it will also be both our easiest, and merely average.

I think you overestimate their chances.
They certainly can beat us; it's not a foregone conclusion that they will.
