I have to say I haven’t watched a single down of Auburn football this year. Are they as good as they think they are?

They're pretty good. This game will be a HUGE challenge imo.

We should be favored by 7 but I don't think it will be that close. I watched Auburn today and wasn't impressed.

If we can get pressure on the QB and prevent the WRs from getting behind us, we should be able to beat them.

Their defense is legitimate. It is very good. Stidham loses focus when he is pressured and can make some costly mistakes when flushed out of the pocket. That said, I think we match up decently. We don't get tons of sacks, but we can usually get decent pressure on the QB. Given time in the pocket, Stidham is very accurate.
Auburn's run game can be stopped, and they tend to overuse Kerrion Johnson, so in the 4th quarter he might get worn down a bit.

Key to the game: We have to get pressure on Stidham. If he is allowed to sit back in the pocket it will be a long, hard game for us.

Another grinder...like today. I do think au is better then usce. I think the margin of error will be smaller and we will have be better all around IMO.

Our biggest test of the season IMO

Most definitely. I suspect Kirby will have them sky high and ready though. The intensity level will go up proportionately. I expect to see a level close to what we saw at Notre Dame.

Auburn is very very impressive on the defensive side of the ball. We are going to have to take advantage of those very few mistakes they make. Also, Kerrion is a STUD. With that RPO, we need to just key him every time and make Stidham beat us. This will be our biggest test of the year....we are about to see what we are really made of.

I saw something completely different than all of you yesterday vs tamu.

Kerryions yards came from play design, not skill or vision.

Defensive line was soft, linebackers played stupid similar to mizzou.

Stidham looked like an nfl qb, he threw well even when pressured and chased.

Our offensive line will need to play better and we have to do a better job of defending the pass and putting pressure on the QB. If we don't it's going to be a tough game.

However, I expect a better performance because this was a classic let down game pure and simple and we still won by two TD's comfortably.

As long as someone gives Savage Santa a ticket, we should be good. He single handedly got the crowd fired up in the 4th.

The intensity certainly wasn't there this week......it shouldn't be a problem getting up for Auburn.....even the crowd was quieter than it has been this year....at least on TV. Every team that has ever won a title has a couple of games a year that just seem out of sorts.....hopefully this one was our one and only...and we still won by 14..... any other time us beating sc by 14 would be a blow out win.....this year its concerning....that's how much better we are in one season......

That was hilarious BTW. Is that guy a regular? Yesterday was the first game I've been to in a while.

Auburn has a similar passing offense as Mizzou. Their defense is a "flex" but gives up few points. Their OL is porous so we should get to the QB.
We had our "letdown" game against SC so Kirby will likely have the team ready to go all out from the start.

South Carolina played a good game. If Muschamp can get good players you come there, their defense will be at least as good as ours. Their defense was in position to make plays the entire game but our offensive players are just better

Auburn is more talented on defense but they aren't coached as well. Offensively I think they're overrated. Johnson isn't a very good running back. His yards come from their scheme which didn't work at all against the sane defense last year. Stidham can play if he can stay upright.

frick Auburn. They aren't as scary as they were.
