Tornado heading towards Canton, afraid it might head towards Cumming but more afraid that it looks like it's on a b-line towards where my mom lives

That’s awesome. Lot of people’s lives changed tonight. Let’s all say a prayer for everyone dealing with issues from the storm.

Winds up to 150mph on that one. Increased quickly.

Yeah that debris signature is nasty. Hope that thing dies quickly

So far, it looks like it's going to keep pushing forward a ways. That's rough. Hoping those folks were thinking ahead on this before they went to bed.

It’s not going anywhere, for sure, but hoping it loses steam sooner than later

Hard to think about doing debris cleanup and potential medical service given what’s going on in the world right now. What a nightmare, god bless those people

Yeah. If it's long track, it'll come close to Lawrenceville. No idea, but hopefully won't make it that far. We just got some big gusts here near Statham.

Fortunately the college park tornado doesn’t have as much piss and vinegar as thomaston, only moving at 45 mph

Upson County. It’s mother nature’s world, we’re just living in it.

We live on the Floyd/Polk line and got pretty dang lucky. No real issues to speak of; we barely lost power (out for like 2-3 minutes total) and very little debris down. Just a great light show and heavy rain.

Sure that was confirmed on the ground? WSB timeline shows those spun up quick and spun out quick. I was asleep so not watching radar and whatnot.

2:48 a.m.

A new Tornado Warning has been issued for DeKalb and Fulton counties until 3 a.m. It has since ended.

2:37 p.m.

There is Tornado Warning issued for Fulton, Clayton counties. It has since ended.

What I'm seeing from the WSB timeline is-

-confirmed tornado NW Georgia (we already knew this before i went to sleep)

-confirmed tornado near Thomaston, latitude near Macon

-confirmed tornado just 10m North of Macon, trajectory Rock Eagle, latitude 30 m N of Macon

-other tornado warned areas by doppler warning, but no tornadoes yet confirmed. These are College Park and another around Cherokee county.

Those of you who stayed up late, does that sound right to you?

There’s chatter that one may have touched down in Habersham. Lots of damage near Baldwin.

I think college park was confirmed via debris field but haven’t heard anything confirmed for Canton
