Lots of cleanup tomorrow. Hard to see everything tonight. Dark and wind still whipping. But the house was spared! Check guest house tomorrow.

60 foot swamp oak came down. Fell in a great place, away from house. We were lucky. Blessed by the good Lord.

glad to hear you and your property are safe. That's the worst feeling knowing a storm is coming and you might not have a home to come back to.

My elderly father rode it out in Brewton AL. Eyewall passed right over him.

He's mad because the power is out, and might not be able to watch games tomorrow.

He's got another house in Kennesaw I tried to tell him to evacuate to, but old people don't listen to their kids.

I’m under contract on a house down there. We’ve got about 5 acres I’m sure will have some cleanup. Insurance is more affordable there as opposed to Florida.

Haven't gotten an update on our condo down there, Don't think PCB got it as bad but still enough to damage beach front.

I just got some pics from father. Brewton is pretty fricked up, His terracotta roof is all fricked up, neighbors house has a giant tree on it, roads still being cleared then he's going to do what I told him to do two days ago, drive to Kennesaw. If he leaves now he can still catch most of the Bama game.

Lost phone connection hours after I posted. Just got it back. Ill be buying starlink innthe next 60 days.

Missed the game.

PCB was spared. 30A got hit hard but very lucky the winds were a bit less here. Destin/Pensacola and everything north of that got crushed.

I live in Tiger Point in Gulf Breeze. My house basically took a direct hit from this storm but outside of structural damage -
Everything is all good.

Most of my fencing is gone -
Our cabana and gutters took some damage. We have part of our fencing in our pool. We had our neighbors tree fall into part of our yard. Pretty gnarley storm - Tiger point winds measured as high as 119 mph. Thankfully we weren't in a flood zone.

I didn't realize we had some Brewton folks near me- do any of yall golf?

That fence needed to be replaced anyway.

Portofino got absolutely wrecked. Entire walls of windows blew out...like all of them. Looks like faulty installation.

Hey neighbor! I'm in Santa Rosa Shores on the canals. We took a bullseye hit from that "Jet Sting". 117mph winds measured at Oriole Beach. Everyone else got a basic Cat 2 storm...the Tiger Point area got a solid Cat 3. That was wild. No major damages to the house (shingles and siding), lots of trees down, feeling very fortunate. Our friends house on TP Blvd got hammered. I'm sure you have seen it. Looks like it took a direct hit from a missile.

However, the wife and I decided next time we are leaving. Board up the windows, strap down the boats, and head north for a couple of days...maybe Atlanta or Nashville. I don't want to do that again.

Not in towers 4 and 5. It's crazy how so many windows facing the sound/bay blew out.

I have a place at Portofino and most of the North facing windows on 3 and 5 were blown out and they survived Ivan from what I was told.

Hey neighbor - you are right down the road. I golf cart all around those parts. :)

Yeah we went to Atlanta and saw Weezer and then spent the last few days at cabin in North Georgia. I haven't seen most of the damage yet because we don't get home until tommorow. We stayed for Sally so decided to leave to avoid the chaos this time.

I've coached some kids that live back on the canals. Small world. I golf at Tiger Point quite a bit and occasionally go up to the Pointe.

Sorry to hear about your friends house. I've saw some of the neighborhood pictures and Tiger Point got ripped pretty good so just glad everyone is ok. I'm sure I'll see their home tommorow when we drive through. Glad to hear yall made it out without to much damage considering the power our area got hit with.

It's the OG fence we got with the crib but yeah it's old. Some of this is neighbors fencing that connects to ours but it's all down. Hopefully we can make it look nice with some new fencing but we will end up doing all the work ourself so we shall see.
