Zeier was one of the first early enrollees I can remember; in fact, I think he was UGA's first early enrollee.

1992 was my senior year in Athens. I tutored Hearst, Hastings, and Lemonte Tellis in some classes and got access to the weightroom. So much fun to hang with those guys.

That team was LOADED.

Was it them or Sons that had the cheese steak with pizza sauce, mushrooms, and pepperoni? Loved to get those.

Lamonte was a good dude. Didn’t think he needed tutoring though. He recruiting was even better. Marry his Mom!

Yes he was. A really good dude.

But yeah, I felt like it was more forced on him than he really needed it. Shoot, when I was a student-athlete in college, study hall was mandatory my first semester until I put up a 3.5 GPA and then I was released.

That was my junior year and it was pretty much downhill for Goff after that. We had the talent to win a NC that year but we a few defensive lapses against Tennessee and Florida. Florida went on to lose to Alabama in the SECCG and of course Bama beat Miami to win the NC.

A ton of turnovers killed us vs it in a shoot out. Seems like 7-8 and we still almost won.

That was the back stab game where fulmer retired Johnny majors...

Robert Smith was their RB1 that year and he was pretty damn good. Eddie George was there but he didn't really emerge until later.
