Chaney threw the LSU game.
There's really no other explanation for that JV performance.

The old school logo with the bulldog head wearing a striped baseball cap looks stupid.
Have at me.

Hitting the QB hard does that.
See Hurts in the NCG and Tua in the SECCG.
The great ones get over that. You can hit those great NFL QBs over and over and over again and they'll still make the accurate throws under pressure to win games.
As long as they don't get injured, they're fine.

Who is great? Pounding the QB always works. I'm interested to hear what QB plays just as well from his back.

There is no way that Sony was better than Chubb overall.
I'd agree with you if Nick never got hurt, however Michel, if utilized to his strengths, is better than Chubb overall

Chubb is both bigger and faster than Michel. Even post injury.

I would argue that he’s a less fluid athlete though, which shows itself in a lot of ways. Less wiggle and comfort out of the backfield being the primary ones.

Chubb is more of a run you over guy post surgery. His cut isn't what it used to be and having that one cut and gone is what separated him from michel.
Michel can hit smaller gaps, juke a defender in the open field, outrun most DBs, and still run people over. Also he is a bigger threat catching the ball.

Getting hit doesn't always mean getting sacked. I have watched multiple games where Brady, Ryan, Wilson, etc... get the hell beaten out of them and still do what it takes to win.
On the college level, Aaron Murray got the shite knocked out of him behind soft offensive lines for years and made the plays needed regardless.
Some QBs start looking for where the next hit is coming from while others shake it off and do the job anyways.
If you want to beat Alabama, you can't be worried about where the next hit is coming from.

Chubb was a violent runner. Michele was more finesse.
Both worked for us and both work in the NFL.
Chubb immediately set the Browns record for longest rush from scrimmage and Michele has a Superbowl ring.

I've seen the opposite. I've seen them get the snot knocked out of them and have horrible games.

I remember him getting the shite knocked out of him and losing to Auburn and Bama.
I remember Florida hitting him hard and early and Murray having the worst games of his career.

All qb's will if you hit hard and early in the game. It literally is everyone's game plan against the best QBs.

Yes. Chubb was the lead blocker on the play. The LB slid down the LOS on Chubb's left, and he just whiffed on the block. Regrettable....but it happens sometimes.
To me, it looks like the OL was responsible for the LB coming from the side, and Chubb was lead blocking the defender in front of him.

Nah. Chubb out ran Michel in their rookie year in the pros because he got his cut back.

UGA/FL game should not be played in Jacksonville.

This was always the misconception imo. I want Sony’s wiggle in tight yardage. Power tendencies are almost counterproductive when everyone knows it’s coming.
ETA: I agree that Nick is more likely to hit the home run

Forgive my grammar. I meant to say in their senior year Chubb lost his jump cut. I will agree that he looks back to his old self now but he did not have that jump cut post-surgery in college.
I tore my ACL, broke my femur and shredded my meniscus and it took me 3 years post-op before I could step on a field and not think about it. That was with your average ortho and average rehab. I couldn't fathom returning to a football field a year post-op like chubb, gurley, and zeus.
My point in that last statement was that I am not hating on Chubb by no means. Love the dude. But when you tear ligaments in your knee, it takes a long time to get back to normal.

Preposterous. Gurley, Kamara, Melvin Gordon, Le'Veon Bell, Sony Michel, Kareem Hunt, all backs that fit the NFL better because of their ability to catch out of the backfield.
