I was aggravated with both sides of the ball!

Can’t catch, not taking the points..

Can’t get off the field on 3rd down, Daniel Harris can’t cover..

It was a total team job of wetting the bed!

Should petition the NCAA to start games down 14-17 points every game to try and get a complete game out of this team?

In the post game presser CKS said that after coming off the injury they didn’t think King could throw it so we were running a defense that we haven’t run …. something similar to the old defenses against Johnson’s teams. That at least explains a little why their dudes kept getting open.

The fact that Georgia won last night doesn’t really change my opinion on how poorly this team is prepared for the majority of games.

For those of you with kids, show them starting on page 38 of the game thread. Go through and explain what quitters look like and why you never want to look like that. Why you don’t want to surround yourself with quitters. Why you don’t want to date or marry a quitter. Why you don’t hire a quitter. And why you never want to be in combat with a quitter.

Watch them. Watch how they quit. How they disassociate themselves with the reason they are associated with this whole thing.

Learn the warning signs kids. Start on page 38 of the game thread.

No go soap up them hands and get to the supper table. Momma made cat heads.

Nail on the head for me. It's fun to have exciting games but we have come out unprepared in 4 big SEC games this year. We got damn lucky on that Tech fumble. Tech could have beat us by 3 scores.

Maybe you'll disagree, but the thing about this team is we run a more pro style offense and work on defending more against the pro style, which is great for getting kids ready for the NFL. The college game is and has been dominated for years by gimmicky offenses and dual threat QB's. Problem there is that doesn't translate to the NFL save maybe Lamar Jackson, who has how many super bowls again? So we always look shaky when we play against a dual threat, but dominate a team with more of a pocket passer (see Texas). The college game is littered with dual threats, bc in many cases that can help make up for lack of overall talent.

The Tech offense is very unique. It’s similar to the UF Tebo offense. Tech ran it well. Lot’s of misdirection that the ends had to respect. Not a typical duel threat offense. The QB ran over 20 dive type plays.

It always felt like a guy was pulling on their line early. Looked like motion all night.

Many of their big plays were shite tackling by us.

They ran some of the same stuff UMass did where they tricked the defense by making the slot WR ineligible and the OT eligible.

Exactly. You think you'll see that run in many games tomorrow? That's not gonna prepare anyone for the next level. Hell Tebow was one of the best to do it and look at his NFL career.

Which brings me to the secing thing we're seeing now which is massively different from years ago. Before when you'd ask a college kid or recruit what they were looking for it was always the same answer...get me ready for the pro's. Now it's more how much money are you gonna pay me and will I start immediately. So the depth is changing and the talent gap is narrowing.

I thought we were done when King ran in that TD to go to 27 when we were trying to rally back.

And you did too.

Absolutely. We were down by 2 TDs with a little over 5 mins left and our offense had looked like arse most of the game. Give a lot of credit to Carson Beck for turning it on. He made some throws.

I think ESPN had it like 99.8% for Tek at that point. Feels good to win a game like that.

Why would any sane UGA fan want to be present in these game threads? It feels like a bunch of little brother trolls, lashing out at every UGA player, coach and loyal fan. And that's not just after a loss, or a bad performance performance, it's after every single play that doesn't have a good result, it's been a steady feature throughout the greatest run in UGA football history. Some of it has to be play-acting because I've known 4 year old children with more emotional stability than displayed on this board during games.
Theres a good bit of lashing out and instability but at least NCdawg and Griffin don’t bicker anymore. I guess NC got banned. lol

But it’s an emotional game and we were down 17. If you can’t handle actually discussing how poor our team was playing I guess that’s cool.

It does seem a little odd to sit it out and then act holier than thou because you choose to sit on the sidelines until the game is finally in hand then call everyone else quitters or counts

I admit I did turn it off in the 3rd quarter, but the score was 17-6.

I would have been mad if they lost a hard fought game, but the team looked like absolute shite yet again.

- failure to score a point the entire first half against an inferior team
- fumbles
- dropped passes
- not kicking a field goal when in range
- going for 2 for absolutely no reason, which single handedly caused the overtimes.
- not being more aggressive earlier in the game

He’s done this almost every single game.

For someone who frequently throws the c word around, this is kind of a cvnty move.

I typically don’t follow the game thread when I’m at the game. Plus, it has become a cesspool of trolls and quitters and a lot of posters don’t like to talk about football, it’s just emotions. We are on the greatest run in the history of the program and the game threads are filled with a bunch of negative, quitter ingrates. Not everyone. There are some good posters and I apologize for lumping you in with them. Not my intention.

I don’t know “counts” or not. It was an observation about how Kirby has seemed “checked out” emotionally this season except when he’s been bitchy with the media.

From the game thread.

I would hate to think it of him but…possible Kirby got the big payday and is ready to hang it up. He has had no fire all year. ...
