But I'm sure that some folks got to tweet out #SoBrave, so there's that.

Other than very few loonies, the only people who believe folks are sincerely praising her as a hero are those who are butthurt and amplifying this shite to validate that arse-chapped kinda feeling they can't seem to get rid of.

It's a completely transparent gimmik. Relax.

So now you’re downplaying/minimizing it like a good little woke apologist.

As if us normies out here don’t see the world changing around us every day. Almost every advertisement, sporting event, tv show, and movie now consists of some in your face insertion of identitarian woke culture and political correctness. Mixed families, absurd minority ratios, feminine in masculine roles, masculine in feminine roles, an astronomical amount of homosexuality, queer, and trans in spite of only maybe 2-3% of that demographic even existing, and always tied to some message intended to shame anyone not on the level of the protected class pyramid, especially straight white folks and the basic nuclear family concept.

You frickin assholes are ruining this country with this bullshite. This isn’t a small issue.

None of us has a problem with women excelling and being incredibly successful in life. But it’s total bullshite to put them in positions where they can get hurt, or worse, purely to pander to an ideological movement designed to pit groups of people against each other.

And yes, that’s precisely what all this shite does. The overly sensitive empathetic compassionate “Woke” do this because they think it makes them morally and intellectually superior and worthy than those who do not believe and feel like they do. It’s quintessential classism and hyper-partisan.

No one wants to see this girl get hit by a 6’4 250 lb dude. Nor do we want to see 10 vs 11 special teams play in a serious competition sport we are watching for the joy of it.

And if this woke bullshite has made its way to football, just imagine where else it is, and how big of a gold rush it’s going to be for all the other sports to catch up and get their slice of the virtue pie.

Again, this is only the beginning. It’s not a small issue and it’s dividing the country more and more every day.

Try reading his post again and maybe not overreacting to what you *think* you are reading...

BS.

All of these "reports" are BS or at best highly exaggerated.

Everyone who isn't triggered by a girl getting on the field can see that.

Continue to be butt hurt, fellas. I'll just happily yawn away the rest of 2020.

BS - in that the "mutiny" is happening. And calling out people who are overreacting to a nothingburger story that if people just ignored it would have more or less gone away. If you play into the attention grabbing stunt, are you better than the people orchestrating it... Or worse?

If you want to see a demonstration of what I was talking about see this guy's post.

Calling out dumb shite is almost always a good thing. There's plenty of dumb shite that goes un-called-out, and those folks just continue to spiral down the dumb-shite drain into the dumb-shite cesspool.

Read BeefDawg's post. How far away from a Little Rascals type "No Ma'm" march outside the Vandy game is this guy? I did my bit to prevent it, and I don't even need thanks.

How bout frick you.

I called it like it is. Some twat trying to minimize an issue that is permeating every aspect of our daily lives, and then mocking and ridiculing anyone for acting like it isn't.

A power-5 SEC football team just trotted out a girl for the sole purpose of scoring virtue points, and millions of people are praising it, and millions of people are acknowledging it for what it really is, and many of those people... just like we're doing right here right now... are arguing over it.

Just like Kapperdouche kneeling, statues being removed, and people being "cancelled" for expressing their First Amendment rights... all this bullshite is dividing us.

And assholes like this guy are partly responsible for that. Most of us out here just want to live our lives without this intrusive shaming ammunition and frickery thrown in our faces and disrupting our normalcy.

The only thing worse than all the praise is the terror and fear the news folks have about asking basic questions.
Was she the best candidate?
How does this affect Title 9?
Is football in the NCAA now Co-Ed?

The fear of the woke crowd by the media is the bigger story here.

And here we go... I must hate women now. I'm sure he'll call me a racist next, too.

Both my wonderful daughters and wife who can almost assuredly bench press more than your low-T bitch arse, might have something to say about that. So EABOD.

And here's the problem. This shite doesn't just go away. This Vandy shite is just a microcosm of a much bigger problem with society as a whole. Giving people stuff they don't deserve based solely on their skin color or what's between their legs is a massive issue in society.

Today, it's Vandy's kicker. Tomorrow, it might be your job. Or mine. All in the name of diversity and inclusion, or some other leftist buzzword like that.

These people all claim to want equality, but they want to be able to cherry pick when they get equal treatment. That is a major, major problem.

Lighten up Francis....the world ain't changing, its simply recognizing that everyone ain't YOU.

Plenty of people on these forums have categorically stated they did indeed want to see the dumb arse get her clock cleaned.

You will be OK my friend....appreciate the good things in life, change the things you can and accept that there are going to be things you can't change. People throughout he history of our species have been convinced things were getting worse in their lifetimes and with the rare exception they have been getting incrementally better for ALL people....but especially those of us fortunate enough to be alive today.

Was it a publicity stunt? Absolutely. Did it harm ANYTHING? No chance in hell, outside of the kickers reputation with people finding it disgusting that she not only was on the team but thought it necessary to make a half time speech chewing their asses out for not being fired up. And guess what???? Our idea of her reputation and her life is not in the least bit impacted by that.

Out of curiosity, and please give an honest answer.

Would you be in favor of a kid that never gets into a basketball game at Georgia going to the womens basketball team and playing? How about track and field? Or any other sports team? Would the media hype it up and say how brave the guy is?

Nobody would be okay with it and no the media would not rain praises on him.

Why, do think? What is the difference?

Isnt there a chance that opt outs could rob UGA of a football game this Saturday?

If the seniors dont win out all games, then they dont become the winningest UGA class of all time.

There is a plausible chance that there is harm.

What does this even mean?

I can call out bad ideas without thinking someone is wrong unless they believe exactly as I do.

And have you looked at what's going on out there right now?

You realize drag queens have a fricking "story time" for little kids, rioting is acceptable while family gatherings for holidays are against the law, history books, monuments, and statues are all being defaced, re-written, or simply destroyed, and Big Tech and MSM are openly and overtly without a single care in the world censoring their ideological opposition (including the freaking President)?

And that's only a tiny fraction of what's happening.

And the people perpetrating these things are the same folks showering the woke movement (ie. themselves) with praise for letting a girl kick a football 35 yards.

It's all connected. It's all under the same "movement". And when combined, it all adds up.

Acting like we're not in the midst of a disgustingly massive cultural shift for the worse is beyond naïve and foolish.

Just try telling one small business owner out of the millions who have lost their life's work this year that the world isn't changing and they just need to lighten up.

If the idiot coach has the balls to pull this publicity bs he should have the balls to show up and play with whatever players he has.

Stuff I've read indicated that this wasn't Mason's decision and that it came from over his head.
