Dasher posted on rivals. Several starters have opted out as of now. Most players believe a better option was available at kicker.

I feel bad for this girl she's going to get shite on for just doing what her coaches say.

That's what happens when the administration gives up on the season and turns it into a yuck, yuck to promote a social injustice issue.

The players train year round to win games and then the coaches/administration brings in somebody to do a self promotion virtue signal. Players do not take stuff like that lightly.

On the one hand I agree. on the other hand she got up in front of the players at halftime and lectured to them. they have worked all year to play and she walks through the door and wants to yell and lecture them?

How would you react?

Or maybe she just wanted to be on the team hence why she was on the roster.

I felt bad for her until I read about her halftime speech. She deserves every bit of shite she gets.

I don't blame the Vandy players one bit. It was a joke and a disgrace. If she was good enough to earn the spot on the team, that would be one thing. But they had better options and the players knew they had better options. She was brought on solely as a publicity stunt and the decision was made over Mason's head.

So the players see that Mason is forced to use a female kicker who clearly isn't the best option, and then that Mason is fired the next day.

it probably feels like a slap in the face because they already stink. If they didn't stink they would've made more of an effort to find a real kicker.

I still think it's a pretty silly thing to get mad about. It's not like they ever got into field goal range last Saturday.

She doesn't want to be on the team. She wants to play soccer. I get that. I understand that. But you don't walk onto a team without working out year round and then get up and blast the people who have been there all year working out, training and playing.

She overstepped her boundaries. You have to earn the right to speak in the locker room, and you have to have the respect of the team. She came to the party and then wanted the party to be for her. no team in the country would take that well.

That's because they'd have to get to about the 15 yard line to get to her very maximum range. They showed her warming up before the game and she was just barely hitting 30 yard FGs off of a tee. It was a joke.

Did she actually do that or did she just try to give a speech? Im not hearing
anything about this

Nevermind just read it, sounds like she was just comparing to how they reacted Saturday to good plays to how her soccer teammates acted. Was she in position to do so? Maybe, maybe not but let's not act like she shite on them

If she didn't want to be on the team she wouldn't be on the team, Vandy isn't forcing her on it. Vandy had no kickers available and no men's soccer team

Imagine this. You go to your job that you have worked at for the past few years. You have worked hard, and given your best at the job. You walk in and everybody is oooing ans ahing over some new person that has never done the job before and doesn't really know what he is doing.

He then proceeds to berate you and say that you are not doing your job correctly. As this new guy walks out the door at the end of the day, in which all he did was berate and lecture everyone else on not getting the job done, the media is there writing what a brave person he is and how wonderful he is.

How would that make you feel?

So does Kirby say to block her but not destroy her on kickoffs or does he just leave the players to their own devices and someone is going to blow her up on a return?

I mean what's the end game, to force females in to college football? It's stupid and unsustainable.

Add on that the new guy is comically bad at his job.
