My concern is that it is such a benefit for QB1 to spend all the time with starters…and even off season work. This part of having 3x potential starters potential hurts us.

Beck has 3 fumbles in about 15 carries for his career.

Athletic or not, he needs to take care of the football better.

I think Carson has all of the tools. But what you do on 3rd down... what you do in the red zone... what you do when down 2 scores... tools don't mean much if you can't come up clutch for your team.

I hope whomever leads us has that confidence. We are assuming that we will be blowing teams out next year. If we struggle on 3rd down or in the redzone, it will be eye opening for the fanbase.

The ball jumps out of Beck's hand like nothing we've seen since Stafford. I don't know if he's going to win the job, but I do want to see him load up and throw a bomb to Arian Smith, just once.

It's nice to have rich people problems, like three badass highly-recruited QB's to choose from.

Even more so for Gunner.

The ball jumps out of Stockton's hand like nothing we've seen since Beck.

I don't even care who wins as long as the coaches think he's the best guy for the job.

I ran into Carson and his dad at a random gas station in Jacksonville and they said if he isn't named QB1, he's going to Temple.

I think you hit your head. Did this happen to be a few years ago? Was Carson black? Did he happen to have had brain surgery recently?

It's an inside joke among us regulars. I was being facetious.

The truth of the matter is that they said Alabama and Ole Miss were the top transfer targets, he was already a bama commit before flipping to UGA. As we pumped our gasoline and nibbled on Donut Sticks.

That we haven't been able to churn out consistently elite QBs has been a modern mystery. Hopefully SBIV will be the first of many in this burgeoning dynasty

The biggest issue I see is if Stockton is QB1 coming out of spring do the other two hit the transfer portal?

Zero chance we name him QB1 that early, if only for that very reason.

The one time I saw Gunner play he was trying to run over linebackers. That isn't gonna work as this level. I hope he realizes that.

Same. He tried to take the whole team on his shoulders in his last playoff game vs. Thomasville and it didn’t go well.

That should scare the rest of the conference and country.

Kirby has...

2 SEC Titles
2 National Titles
3 National Championship appearances
5 SEC East Titles
6 NY6 Bowl Appearances with wins in the Rose, Sugar, Peach (2x), and Orange Bowl under his belt

Hasn't finished outside the Top 7 since year 1

And has done all that and more, led by the likes of Jake Fromm and Stetson Bennett. Don't get me wrong, I love both of them, especially Stetson. But now imagine putting a generational 1st round talent in at QB for the Dawgs... Damn, it's a great time in Athens.

How many championships did we win with him?

Not a coincidence that all three of our titles have come with a South Georgia QB.

North Ga Mountain is the closest to that culture in the state. Gunnar is the only choice.

It seems articles and blogs keep coming out by pundits saying Brock is the man or Gunner is showing out. It seems the narrative they want to push is that Beck isn't as talented or doesn't have the same poise that Gunner and Brock have. It kind of reminds me of spring 2009 when Joe Cox was the front runner. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out.
